MLPTP EVENT MLPTP's Holiday Swap 2023 - ALL GIFTS ARRIVED!!

Gosh this is so fun! I went out tonight and did a little in-person shopping for extras and found some cute stuff and some yummy stuff!

Have a few ponies ordered already. Waiting to see if I win a bid. (Partner gets that pony either way, just bidding to see if I can squeeze another pony into the budget. Lol!)
 
Think I got the pony part done, now to look for extras ❤️

ARG! All the ponies I have ordered have arrived except ONE, and it hasn't even shipped yet. Ordered it the 22nd, and yeah, I know there was a holiday in there....I will try not to get impatient until a real business day has come and gone, but I did send the seller a message. And I am still waiting for the auction I bid on to end...that's tomorrow though. Everything that is at the house is wrapped, and I picked up a few more extras in town tonight....I keep seeing stuff I think my partner will like! Crafts are coming along nicely, but I suspect I will be the last to ship, as the crafts always seem to take longer than I expect except at Halloween for some reason.
 
First pony arrived smelling so horribly of cigarette smoke that it will probably take years buried in baking soda to stop smelling. Got a full refund, but now I have to shop for a replacement. Several extras are on the way. I'm also working on obtaining some local goods for my partner too.

I got everything for my partner!! Next year maybe ill be able to do the second tier swap, i feel like $50-60 always seems like a lot but actually isnt when you start buying stuff haha i wanted to buy so much more than I was able! :rofl: I hope my partner loves their stuff omg im so excited! Im just hoping everything ships fast. Its supposed to be here on time but with thanksgiving hours and weekends, hopefully it doesnt delay too much.

I was really surprised at how expensive things are. I shouldn't be, with inflation, but...dang.
 
I need to go find goodies, might try to go this weekend to the store, it’s a little far away~
 
Got two things in the mail so far!! I cant wait to see the rest when it gets here!! Im pretty proud of the wrapping and packaging I got. Altho, yall, on a related sidenote, in my search for wrapping paper ive noticed theres nothing solid green, no solid green or mostly green paper, gift boxes, etc. Since when :rofl: o_O Green is like THE christmas color! Has anyone else noticed this in the store or is it just mine lol? I wondered if it was a color trend or something this year
 
The final 2 ponies should arrive Friday, and the last piece I need for the handmade gift, tomorrow! It is always the things I am most excited to gift that take the longest to arrive, why is that?!

@strawberrypony32 I had not noticed that, but now I'll keep an eye out. Lol! Very strange. There's solid red stuff available nearly all the time.
 
Partner, i bought you something, then realized that it is not what you wanted lol so ill be keeping it and have already got you a replacement lol
 
Ahhh one thing I ordered still hasnt shipped, i hope it hurries up! :cry: Ive gotten everything else!! Just waiting on those two things.
 
GAH! My craft is....not as crafty as I hoped! I am trying to resolve.... Either way, I have everything else wrapped so in a moment I'll use my phone to add a teaser image. :unsure: Standby.... .... .... ....
