My Little Pony Friends

I designed a couple when I was a kid! A seal pony friend named Flippy, and a baby pony and pretty pal set with a fawn that I don't recall the names of. I'd love more non-pony ponies.
Nowadays I'd love to see a rhinoceros, or an alligator.
 
An ostrich! Or, in a similar vein, a tall peacock with a tail like the fairytale birds! *starts daydreaming about how beautiful peacocks are when they fly* :ponylove: :PP::PP::PP::PP:

I love hippo, goat, and donkey. The hippo could swim, the donkey would have a mane, and the goat would have a goatee. Maybe it could be baby blue? Pogo stick symbol!

What about a brick, from what I can tell it'd make a good friend stays where you put it, keeps the door open for you, keeps the papers from blowing away, can help deliver angry messages to people, so it's all around a good friend to have around.
 
A kookaburra would be nice. They're rather pudgy birds with big heads and beaks, so I think it would make for a good toyshape. Or maybe an owl. I feel like the Kookaburra can be Kerry. I'm thinking that the owl could be named Watson, but at the same time, I feel like there's possibly better names for toy owls out there.

You know… they could just take the g4 pets and make them g1 size.

(have I obsessively kept track of all the accessories from E’s ponies? Yes, yes I have.)
 
A hippo, for sure. Purple. Her name would be Gayla, and her symbol would be... cattails, maybe?

ETA: My friend, opposumcorn, made some amazing hippo customs from DG babies. A standard-sized hippo friend would have been amazing!

Adding to "already was animal in G4" suggestions, butterfly and dragonfly with wings like a winger and flutter. Not sure on first, but dragonfly feels it could have popcorn theme. They could have been cute and chunky...oh, saying this made me also think of a bumblebee.

Now that I have seen your illustrations, I am all behind a hippo and goat! They are super cute. Maybe a sea lion would be cute for an aquatic animal?

Sea friends for the Sea Ponies would have been awesome. Sea lion, orca, dolphin, narwhal (they're the unicorns of the sea).
