Can anybody tell me the difference in the Aurora plushies and the walmart exclusives? Where are the Aurora ones being sold and are they bigger or better quality? thanks
 
The aurora plush ponies have sewn plush hair as opposed to the streamer-like hair of the Wal-Mart exclusives. I have heard that they were seen in a California store, but I'm not sure which stores are going to carry them. You can find them online at Toywiz.com.

So far, they are shown in two sizes 6.5" & 10". The smaller ones can be purchased with a purse as well.

Personally, I think they look better than the Wal-Mart exclusives, but I can't speak to quality yet as I haven't seen them in person.
 
so the main reason I have not seen them in stores is because they are new ? Or does anybody know if they are an online thing?
 
Yes, the Aurora ones just got released, so really new. My guess is they will become available in brick and mortar stores, I'm just not sure which ones yet.

Build-a-bear has also started a line of mlp plush ponies (just Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie so far for $25 each). 4DE has done presales for Twilight and Pinkie as well, but theirs are exclusively online.

Anyway, l hope that helps some. Give it time, I'm sure the aurora ones will pop up soon.
