New York Toy Fair 2009 My Little Pony PHOTOS

Wow! Thanks for the link. I just don't know what to think about the new style ponies. I guess I'll have to wait until I see them in person.

oh teh noes..
i dont like them at all...

I don't like any of the newborn stuff.
But, oh my god, I love everything else.
I like the new design even more now.

Blaaaargh!!

I like how they taunt us with the picture of Minty on the "Positively Pink" video. "You'll never see THIS pony again! MWAHAHA! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!"

The "big chibi" ponies are hideous. The Super Long Hairs and the styling pony in particular make me cringe.

Also, plush baby Starsong? CREEPY. "Going to attack you in your sleep" creepy.

In non-pony news . . .

Strawberry Shortcake with POUTY LIPS? She looks like she's half Bratz. >:/

- LMAF - It's the 09' Chucky... :hide: watch out for those thunderstorms when Chucksong is near!!! "I'm going to eat your soul!!!" :eat:

Oh wow!! I'm really liking some of the new molds!! :D I really, really want Starsong and Sweetie Belle! And I like the molds with the mouth open too.

I'm not really a fan of the newborn line, and I won't lie, I'm not feeling the new mold as a styling pony, but I really think I'd have to see it in person. :)

Does anyone else think that the new style Sweetie Belle looks smaller than all the rest? It seems very noticeable in the close up picture of her with Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. Do you guys think they decided to make her the youngest one of the bunch by making her smaller?

OMG I love the new pony Molds!
LMAO
They Looks so Weird But OMG I love them lol
:img38:
LOL yeah i'm probably gonna be an out cast for this LOL

No, I still don't think I like the new ones and the art work on the box is hideous,

I do like the newborn cuties.

Kat

I don't care for this new mold at all. I think it looks even more childlike which I guess is what they're going for maybe. The newborns are alright. I like their accessories. As a customizer I guess I'll be doing all my bait shopping online for sure if this is the new mold.

oh and another thread here, all are horrible :( I prefer original G3 from 2003

Meet the new Pinkie Pie. :486:

Pinkie Pie looks STUNNING! :D I adore the new style ponies! I am glad Hasbro changed the eye design again. I love they are wearing eye shadow, it looks nice on them. It's very obvious they are actively competing with Bratz, though.

I like the new molds, the new ponies are very, very cute in my opinion. They look like they are ready for a new era of MLP. My opinion? I think they will sell like crazy. I think they are even a good alternative to Bratz-oriented girls because of their new design. They look like they can beat the competition.

I'm happy. All of them are MUST-haves! :D

Um...wow...they are different, better than the French show pictures. I noticed they redid the boxes on the Newborn Cuties line, and that baby Toola Roola is in it now. The ponyvilles are looking slightly different too. I still don't know until I see them in person.

See, that's precisely what it is about the new moulds that set my teeth on edge. Bratz is *not a good example* for girls, (and why are they still on the shelves? I thought they were disbanded??) and the fact that MLP - which is supposed to be an innocent toy that promotes creativity and imagination is going down the same "we've got to be cutesy and wear make-up and be overly thin to be cool" superficial line makes me kind of ill. They're losing sight of the point of the line. The more kids toys' are made wearing make-up and doing grownup or teenagery things then the more pressure kids are going to feel to be like that...children are growing up fast enough, and I'm extremely disappointed in Hasbro for furthering the trend...

Ponies should be horses. And horses don't wear make-up and have heads bigger than their bodies.
