Eep, I'm pescatarian and was suprised at McDonald's fries not being vegetarian.
The fries actually have a beef flavoring

i would say my area normally gets what the us has about 2 weeks after, i will have to keep checking it out.

Hydrogenated vegetable oils? Eww! Trans fats!

I'm a vegetarian, myself. I try to avoid meat as much as possible. The ramen I eat does have a small amount of beef extract (*sigh*) in it, but it's not as if I'm eating a steak (Nggh...). Why on earth would they use beef flavoring in fries? That's just weird...

As least we know PONIES are veggie friendly. :D

P.S. What's a pescatarian?

lol I looked up what a pescatarian was because I didn't know either. basically they follow all the rules of being a vegetarian except they eat fish and fish products (oils and whatnot) for their benefits (think omega 3s)

I totally agree. I was so disappointed in those lame Hello Kitty watches! I mean, I saw Hello Kitty was coming up and I got excited, but once they actually showed the watches on the site, I didn't even want them. And I collect about anything with Hello Kitty on it. Hopefully the ponies will make up for the last Hello Kitty promotion. I already told my mom about it since she'll have to drive me since I don't have a car, and she rolled her eyes at me. lol

:yippie:SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I was at McDonalds and my little brother got a Happy Meal. He checked the bottom of the box and hid it from me. I snatched it from him and SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! He said he was going to tell me as my Christmas present.
 
Yay for this! I can't wait to start getting them! Also, speaking as someone who does eat meat (not to start any fights.....I have nothing against people who don't).....yay for beef flavored fries! Somehow that makes me like them even more. lol:hugegrin:
 
i was hoping it'd be this week but noooooooooooooooo >>;

though in fairness i guess they were waiting until after the show came onto the canadain network before the promotion started, that way it'd go over big in canada too.

Anyone see them at their McDonalds yet? I have been considering calling my local one to see if they are in yet. I'd hate to walk in and then find out they don't have them yet. Because then I would want to leave and not buy anything....and that would not make me look very good. lol
 
I'm gonna stop by my local McD's tomorrow night to see if they have 'em. *Crosses fingers*
 
I'm pretty sure it's still going to be a few weeks. In January every year they have a few weeks where there's no new toys so they can get rid of whatever leftovers they have from the previous year. I'm pretty sure that will happen before they start the MLP promotion.
 
I can't wait to see what they look like, look's like my son's getting girl's happy meal's soon :)
 
Ooooh sounds awesome! It'd be great to see them! All we have now are megamind toys or LPS. I remember they once had mlp key rings :) I got about 2. I dunno where they went :(
 
megamind and LPS? wow... megamind was a while ago... we got a few of those in my son's happy meal's and lps I can't even remember that... hopefully you guy's get them not long after us :)

We asked at a local McDs last week and were told "January 21st" is the official date. However, I don't know if they meant just for their particular store or all of them. Never before have 12 days seemed such a vast chasm of time to me... :biggrin:
