ok ... ok ... wtf?!

ummmm...I don't know what else to say that hasn't already been said. I'm not really sure what to make of it to be honest. It might be bad art, I'm not really understanding the vision here, if there was any, and it doesn't look like a lot of effort went in to it. However, it might be good art. Maybe it's intention was just to get a reaction to it. In that case it is serving it's purpose.

Yeah, I'm with the poster who said it reminded them of the kid in Toy Story!! Poor pony!! And poor legless barbie doll!! Ick!!

Not my cup of tea, but I will suggest Hieronymus Bosch and DaDa as other art references to go along with the Surrealists.
Gotta love a chance to use that expensive college education, lol.

I just saw a Korean movie about a mutated monster that came out of a river because people were dumping chemicals into it. This sort of looks like it, actually.

As far as what "art" is, I think it's just to inspire a reaction of some sort in the viewer, and boy did this artist get everybody here! It could also have been self-expression, and even though I myself don't understand what that was, I'm not going to dismiss that possibility. Just because it's not a cheap knock-off of Monet that somebody plastered on a mug doesn't mean it's not art, it's just not pretty and you wouldn't put it in your living room.

thats is so lame! lame lame lame - blurgh! lol

That is horrid.

someone here should buy her and give her new life as a better custom. I would, but I am no good at sculpting.

$15 - Are you kidding me?

Funny that someone would try to sell that

Scary that someone may actually buy it

Thanks for sharing!

I'm usually not very squeamish (at all) about toys.. but I'm really actually a bit disturbed by that.

I wish I hadn't have seen the photo. :p

I'm actually tempted by this to pay the person who did this twice as much as what he's offering to put that pony back together, or buy both halves and do it myself.

Poor Strawberry Sunset. What a poor excuse for art!

I just think it's kind of lazy. If you're going to make some creepy children's toy hybrids, put a little effort into it! :p

First of all who has a piano? Second of all... what.. the... oh my god. There is no art to this, I'm sorry. I can see art in a blob of paint but this is just gross and unsettling. I mean the person looked like they just cut it wherever, it's not even a nice cut. And... WHY OH WHY?!

I mean a single leg. They could have done something better. Or at least Barbies leg to make it prettyish.

So many words, yet so little to say.

G3 Ponies

There ya go. :) I don't believe she was ever sold in Australia, which may explain why she is unfamiliar to you. I'm American, so she was found at our Dollar Stores over here.

Ahhh, so that's what Strawberry Sunset looks like. It makes sense that I've not heard of her if she's US exclusive, and I've not beeing following G3s very closely for the past 2 years. :D Thanks for sharing that! :3

LMAO my friend was looking on Etsy the other day and pointed this out to me... who the heck would buy that?!?!?! :uhoh:

that´s garbage.. nothing else... maybe someone trying to be funny?? *people are strange*

He probably had leftover parts, and thought this might be funny... or blasphemy?!? EIther way, this person is disturbed.... LOL
