Hello everypony!
I have read a bunch of threads about storing collections and such, and have gone through my entire collection of G1s and individually bagged them and cleaned them up and whatnot (maybe not cleaned, but, brushed their hair at least)...
But now I'm starting to get into pairing up accessories with their owners, and this MOSTLY applies to the baby ponies - but, for the adult G1s, I'm able to put their ribbons and brushes in the baggies that they are individually stored in without them being "smooshed" up against the pony or whatnot...
But, for the babies, say like, Baby Glory - you know, crib, toys, bottles, necklaces, etc... - do you store these separately from them? How do you keep all the baby accessories straight? Like right now - I've put all the individual baby accessories for each pony into it's own bag and labeled it... then put ALL of those into another bag, into a bin. But, it just doesn't seem like the easiest way to have "quick" access to these accessories for when I need to add more to them, or photograph them, etc...
Anyone have any better ideas? I haven't even began to deal with storing the large bassinets and strollers that some of the Newborn Twins came with, so that'll be a feat all it's own.
And does anyone know one, giant, huge checklist for G1s that would list out the ponies AND their accessories? (Adults brushes./combs & ribbons, babies all accessories, etc.) I have about 5 checklists, not to mention the ones I've made myself for my playsets...
OOOH - that was my other question! Storing playsets and their parts!! What do you guys recommend? Most of my playsets have their original boxes, so they're obviously in there, and within that, in baggies... and all of those boxes are in bins... heh. Just a little tedious with all the packaging... but, yeah.
