So here's the story. We went to this community yard sale yesterday. Nice area. Hot as any explative and very humid, but we walked the many blocks and hoped to find treasures unknown. Of course my friends knew I was in it for the ponies. After sweating and puffing around we come to a house that had a sheet out in the drive and assorted toys and bedding on it. There was one vintage Bluebell...then Lofty, then Sprinkles, then Sundance. I snached them up and though I have them I could not leave them! I asked how much and she told me to make her an offer. I said, $1 or $2 for them all and she said $2. Then she asked me if I collected and I told her I did. She said that she had a castle or part of a castle and that she didn't know how to put it together. She said that I could have it and that she would get it for me. Unknown to her was that her significant other had put in the trash bin there in the garage. It was in a plastic bag, no food or groddy stuff in there. In the bag was also Majesty and Spike! Yes, I have the castle too from my childhood, but no castle left behind either! Here's my son playing with it today. He said his men were shot and the ponies took them in..

Did you notice he used the coat rack for their helmets and dog tags? LOL! I didn't see that until I uploaded the pic. Love that boy!:sunny:

:nodno: I will never EVER understand people...EVER!!!! WHY THROW AWAY A PERFECTLY GOOD TOY!!?? Even if you don't know how to work it or if it's incomplete. ****grrrrrr**** :cussing:

Great story. Many a GIJOE have been rescued by a pony in my house. Ponies are very hospitable and nurturing. :)
