what are your grail/dream ponies?

I really want the Star Catcher plush backpack! My favorite things to collect are G3 plushies and Star Catcher is one of my G3 favorite ponies :D My previous dreamy was the giant Minty plush but I managed to buy when I ran into a listing for her by pure luck! I just need to find time to go buy stuffing for her, since she has been sitting unstuffed since November..
 
I'd love to get SS Twilight, and ... there's a baby with a castle cutie mark. She had to have been from a playset. I'd like to find her. I forget her name, but everytime I see her for sale, she is much too expensive. But, I buy auction lots now and then. Perhaps she will turn up!

i mentioned this before but a giant/jumbo G3 Sweetberry plush. a friend found one on marketplace for AU$50 but the seller couldn't ship out to the US </3 got away again
 
out of the box/used g3 dandelion art pony. i want to brush her, hold her, and examine her beautiful features. i would feel super guilty if i unboxed and touched a perfect condition pony, especially a rare one like this. her box is too beautiful, and i think it should go on someone else's shelf.

I love the dandelion pony, she’s so pretty ^_^
I’d feel a little bad unboxing one but I’d still totally do it lol and then I’d display the box art too
 
I am actually gonna have to say Mimic. She’s nowhere near as rare as some of the ponies you referenced earlier, however it’s extremely costly to import her to the EU incl. taxes and shipping. So I’d probably have to combine getting her with a leisure trip to the States :mimic:
 
My ultimate grails that might actually be attainable are German Skydancer and Starshine. I LOVE their pastel rainbow hair and I'm a sucker for white ponies, especially with rainbow hair and in the Surprise pose... and Skydancer's color and symbol remind me of a painting my aunt had in her living room of birds flying into a sunset.

Eesh, you're not kidding. In the Nirvana group I found our Nachtlicht in, just earlier today, someone posted a South African pony; the original mane and tail were gone and she had been rehaired, but she was still selling for $1,200. She was sold in under an hour.

Which reminds me: is there a reason SA ponies are so dang rare? Just low production numbers or what?

I am not surprised. SA ponies are some of the rarest and they never last long when up for sale. Low production is a huge factor for the rarity of them. Even redhaired they will still easily go for over a grand in US dollars.
