you know you like ponies too much when

Your 4 year old nephew calls you during an episode of FiM to ask if you have Rainbow Dash and could he see her when he comes over next time.
 
When you have a room called "the pony room"
when you have all the opening theme songs on your cell phone
when something goes missing you blame it on the ponies
when you color your hair like ponies
when you name your pets after ponies(my horses name is gusty=}
when your pony collection is worth more then your car and your house
when people in town bring you ponies cuz they know you collect them
when all the used stores know me by name

there are so many!!
 
You always find one in your bag..pocket..car...desk...under the pillow.......
 
I brought home 3 babies and DD was in her room asking the adult ponies who wanted to be each babies mother.
 
When the one thing that makes you light up like a super happy kid when you have to be stuck at work is when you get a chance to talk about ANYTHING related to My Little Pony.

When you desperately wish your workplace would add My Little Pony toys to the, "collectors wall", at work where they hang the only toys for sale, which just HAPPENS to be in front of your department ( I work in the liquor store inside the local grocery store... old building, so we were grandfathered... and the ONLY area of the store where they have toys is this one small end cap that's conveniently located next to the spot cooler at the entrance of the store, DIRECTLY across from the liquor store. Our manager knows that there is a HUGE amount of Hot Wheels collectors in our area, so the entire wall is filled with Hot Wheels and Disneys', "Cars", toys. When the locals come in to buy their booze, they also hit up the, "collectors wall", and we can talk, "collectors speak", while they nose through the Hot Wheels for cards with certain numbers on them. While it feels great to be able to converse with other toy collectors from other toy fandoms, I dearly wish the manager would see fit to bring in some FiM toys as well. The CARS toys don't sell well, just the Hot Wheels toys, so they COULD kick the CARS toys out and replace them with ponies. And even if the pony fandom in my area is small NOW, I would make sure those ponies were purchased! And I don't mean just by ME buying them! I'll admit, when I REALLY love something, I can get others interested as well. ).
 
When you carry around a pony in your purse everyday, hoping for someone to notice it and reveal to you that they like ponies, too!
 
When your boss goes to McDonalds for lunch and orders a Happy Meal just so she can bring you a pony toy.

Bonus points if she buys an extra toy so you "have one to open and one to keep in the bag. You do stuff like that, right?"



EDIT: Oh oh! Or when your dad's boss cleans out his attic and brings his daughter's ponies to you at work. That was awesome. And then my boss was all "Did you call Aadra??"
 
you stalk the local flea markets/ good will/ salvo stores in hopes of finding a pony you do not have

you have set up a network of pony hunters in your local area to look for ponies for you (yes i have someone doing this )
 
You buy several ponies from a TP member with the plan to customize. Then they arrive and are sooo cute you don't have the heart to do it. :)
 
Ur significant other comes up with a new verb -anytime you do ANYTHING with ur Ponies he calls it "ponying" as in "your ponying again aren't you?"

You make ur own pony themed necklaces!
 
...you write hyooooge posts on MLP boards defending your favorite ponies. ;-)
