In your fantasy world: what else does Basic Fun or Hasbro release g1-wise (other generations are welcome too)? Sky's the limit!

I would love to see:
- Pony: Remix - This would be a line of existing G1 ponies but "remixed" into other existing G1 poses. Perhaps a new pose or two would be nice as well. Example: G1 Minty in the Powder pose (My fav pose). I feel like these would sell way better than endlessly re-releasing collectors pose, etc.

- Twinkle-eye Baby Ponies - they could be existing characters (think Baby Bright Eyes) and a few new ! -

- Super fantasy here, but - Pony Pairs - pairs of ponies whose poses play upon one another. It'd be great if the poses "interacted with" other poses in the line. And in my head, somehow each pony looks great on their own as well. But I imagine things like this Mama and Baby Glory laying together. Or pegasi who appear to by flying together, etc.

I always used to make my tootsie pose ponies hug other ponies lol.

Yes, put me down for Twinkle eye babies! Maybe pearl versions of babies that didn't get that treatment e.g. Minty. Or more collectors pose babies like Butterscotch :D

Though I was surprised that they didn't reboot birthday pony for the 40th.

G1 characters in G4 (pre-movie/pre-reboot) form.
Particularly, original 6 collector ponies, Sweetberry ponies, and Sparkle ponies as G4’s. I would absolutely freak out over something like that.

It would be nice to see more variety and forward-thinking ideas like that. I wish we could get some of these to actual reality instead of just our dreams!

I love all these ideas! Though cute, the Collectors Pose ponies weren't my favorites, and I've never been interested in buying them anew. I feel like G1 really hit their style stride in the years after with sculpts like Applejack, Posey, Gusty, Heart Throb, Sugarberry, baby Blossom, and Baby Glory. The Summer and Windy wings especially had brilliant sculpts, and new designs of them in at least the same quality as the 80's versions would have me helplessly forking over money, lol.

If they're re-releasing ponies I'm happiest to see the ones whose originals tended to age very poorly, so I was glad to pick up new Gingerbread and Sweet Stuff, and have had my eye on Pinwheel though she's gotten too expensive secondhand.

I know they have to be choosy now and try to select styles that are likely to sell really well, but I'm not honestly sure why the Collector Pose line would keep selling over and over.

I have concave foot from the 80s and that's all I mean to collect. Not even gonna get flat foot. Why would I want to buy every rebooted modern release? XD if they love collectors pose so much, they should release birth flower ponies or something.

Exactly!! I had all the CF and FF ponies and I wound up selling all the FF and keeping just the CF poses that had been reworked with taller front hooves so they didn't slump forward. I'm not sure if I didn't sell some of those as well. I like UK Applejack and Bow Tie though.

I’m super partial to the three families that were released in the US and would love to see more, but I also know how expensive a set of three or more ponies in a box set would end up being nowadays.

I always wanted boy G3’s, too. Or G3 twin babies & newborn babies. The closest we got to family in the line was Tira-Mi-Su and Mochanut as sisters.
 
I would love to see a rerelease of Glow and Show ponies! Starglow was my favorite pony as a kid and Brightglow was one of my faves in my teenage collection! I would love to have them again but I just can't spend the kind of money it would take to get them.

Fantasy-wise, it would be super cool if they released some figures of G1 villains! I'm thinking Tirak and Scorpan, or like a super cool Volcano of Gloom playset haha. Or a Mushromp playset with the Moochik and his rabbit buddy!

Agreed! I'd love to have a Glow n' Show pony for myself finally. They're all so pretty and I bet they'd look great new!
 
Reintroduce the Takara ponies, no longer a Japanese exclusive pony. Perhaps even reimagined as regular proportioned ponies, and heavily emphasize the fashion aspect of them. All styles from different time periods and cultures, collabing with big name fashion brands and designers worldwide, (coughMoimemeMoitiefortheJapaneseaudience).

You guys all have great ideas! I love the idea of ponies in new poses, or prototypes we never got! I'd love to see more neons, since we only got those towards the end of the line and they are very 80s/90s, but I'd also really love if they made a line of babies for ponies who never got one! Like Moondancer and Glory got babies - why not Sunlight and Twilight? Baby Cotton Candy, Baby Blossom - time for Baby Minty, Baby Blue Belle, Baby Butterscotch and Baby Snuzzle!
 
I'd love that they re-released Galaxy. I don't know why they didn't do it. I can find absolutely no reason to explain why they made Fizzy, and three twinkle-eyes with the Gingerbread pose, and no Galaxy.

I'd like too see remakes of some of the last editions of the G1, as they're very few units of them, like the Flower Fantasy ponies, the Colorswirl, the mail orders like Mommy and Baby, the Pretty Mane...

And what if some G3 designs in G1 molds? ♥
