Let's get SPOOKY It's time for the MLPTP's Halloween Swap!
How does it work?
PLEASE READ ALL OF THESE DIRECTIONSThe MLPTP Halloween/Fall Swap is like a Secret Santa Swap:
Each participant receives another MLPTP member to send a swap box full of goodies to.
The items are based on the recipient's wish list.
In return, the sender will receive a swap box based on their own wish list from someone else!

Everyone will send/receive one or a few ponies from their wish list, along with some Halloween/Fall goodies. The swap box is tailored to items from their wish list by their secret, sinister swapper. The gifts will also be wrapped and made festive! You will ship and receive a box full of frightful fun!
Requirements to Join - 3 months of Active Membership at MLPTP. (Meaning you've interacted on the forums with in the last 3 months prior to this post.)
- Minimum of 200 posts. (Get to posting but follow the posting rules!)
- Minimum of 5 MLPTP feedback OR MLPTP feedback for 2 successful swaps in the past.
- You must not have any Negative Feedback on your profile. (ZERO Negative Feedback)
What are the spending limits? There are 2 spending categories for this swap:

Level for this swap)
- Level #1 is $40-$50 (including pony/ponies and extras)
- Level #2 is $90-$100 (including pony/ponies and extras)
- These amounts do not include shipping costs of any kind.
Please see etiquette below! - You must include at least one (1) pony in the swap box you send.
- Due to the budget values you are only allowed 1 (ONE) partner per member for this swap.
- Extras should be based on suggestions from your recipient's wish list--strive to make sure their gifts are tailored to them.
- All items must be wrapped. Think about it... how FUN is it to unwrap gifts?
- Remember to include a card and let your partner know who you are. (Your username.)
- Delivery confirmation (domestic) or receipt of sending (international) is required!
This way if something is lost it doesn't count against you, but it will be the post office's fault. Purchasing insurance for your package is strongly recommended! - Be sure to package your swap box in a BOX for a safe secure delivery! This means using a sturdy box, packing tape, and filling all empty space in the box with packing material (packing peanuts / bubble wrap / etc) so that no part of the box collapses in transit. Make sure your labels are clear and legible!
- When shopping for ponies, keep in mind that ponies should be in great condition!
The MLPTP Swap rule of thumb is: Send a package that you would be thrilled to receive yourself. - We understand some members may get carried away in shopping and not realize, or may feel inclined to go over budget. Please understand to do so is entirely discretionary and if you do, you may not have a partner who will do the same. When in doubt stick to the swap budget recommendation amount! Also consider, not everyone has the funds to go over budget and nor should they feel like they have to. A member who spends appropriately should not feel like they didn't give enough because someone else was over-generous. Based on feedback we've received, a maximum is not set but we strongly encourage swappers to please try to stay as close to the budget as possible to avoid any hard feelings and remember to account for values of items that you may have already had that cost you nothing.
- If shipping international please mark as GIFT on the customs form so your partner is less likely to have to pay duties/taxes/VAT/import fees on their package. When recording values please do not over estimate for those who DO have to pay customs.
- Send your tracking number and/or proof of postage to the swap host by 10/13/24!!!
- Once you've received your box, you must post a thank you brag in the Show n Tell thread. Your sender is anxiously waiting to know how much you love your box, and everyone else would love to see what you received! Failure to complete this step will result in a neutral feedback for the swap. *Please try to include at least one photo that shows everything you received all together, with however many other photos/comments you want.
- You must also leave feedback for your swap partner. (Here's how to leave feedback!)
- The mods here at the MLPTP are very busy and will quickly be moving along to the next swap, game, contest, or other activity. Please open your boxes and complete step #2 above by 10/28/24. Failure to do so means that the mods may not be able to step in and help with any concerns you may have with your swap box after that time has passed. (Obviously if your box arrives after this date for some reason you will be exempt.)
- If you have any concerns with ANYTHING you MUST contact the swap host ASAP.

Global Accommodations * Please read * Given the circumstances of the last couple years, we have decided to start the sign ups earlier than usual.
We want to give members time to shop and deliveries time to get to their destinations.
Therefore, we want to stress the importance of the deadlines listed below and importance of communication. 
Everyone who signs up and sends a package should be able to also receive a package in a timely manner.
If you are not confident you can have your package shipped by the deadline, please think twice.
There will be other fun festivities to participate in.
We understand things arise and some things can't be controlled,
that's okay but we also want everyone who participates to enjoy the swap and be assured
to have their gifts before the holiday.
If for any reason you run into issues you must communicate with the swap hostess or co-hostess so we can work it out.
Failure to ship by the required deadline or communicate issues in a
timely manner may result in a negative feedback.

Or Wind Whistler would say subtract from the total needed by what you have and divide it by the number of days you have and you'll know any many posts to make a day to meet the requirements to play
