An artist turns Disney characters into realistic portraits, and the results are magical

Jirka Väätäinen has re-created some of the most classic Disney characters — like Belle, Cinderella, Ursula, and Elsa — to appear more realistic.

My initial thought upon seeing this, was that Mel Gibson who voiced John Smith somehow morphed into Val Kilmer in his prime.

Prince Eric is now Uncle Jesse from Full House. And Tarzan turned into George of the Jungle.

Other then that, these look great. I especially like Moanna, Cinderella and Ursula.

I would agree on Moana, she’s my favourite for sure. Then I really like Hercules for some reason. And HAVE MERCY!! Eric is even more cute now. ;p

I agree, Moana is perfect! The little mermaids holds a special place in my heart and he captured Ursula and Eric just how I imagined them.
