I rarely take down our Halloween stuff! We have a kind of Dia de los Muertos theme going in our house. Plus, I am just really lax on housekeeping. :D

@Skybreeze Hope the migraines will leave you alone in the future. They're ungodly. That's why I've been missing a bit. My head hates me.

Wouldn't it be neat to be able to trade heads? Just got a bit? Like the creepy lady in return to oz, only without the creepy. ;)
 
I haven't seen the full movie, but I think saw part of on tv once & started crying:cry:
she was being chased by these laughing stick people on wheels with the most evil faces:cry::cry:

Wheelers, those are the Wheelers. These have been the subject of reoccurring night terrors I have had regularly for as long as I can remember. I have recently re-watch Return to Oz to try and get over my fear. But no. They still freak me out. It’s the masks and the way they move I think that bothers me.

Your thinking of Mombie. Yes, it would be neat but I have some kind of deep embedded trauma from that movie over all so I would rather a click on and off like the MLP P.O.P toys much better. Lol

Your thinking of Mombie. Yes, it would be neat but I have some kind of deep embedded trauma from that movie over all so I would rather a click on and off like the MLP P.O.P toys much better. Lol

YES!!! God, those things are so terrible! @Skybreeze do you also experience frequent discomfort, unease and downright terror when things 'move wrong'? It's like a primal fear for me, in certain games and movies when people/things just move in certain unnatural ways. Hard to explain properly.
Also, some friends convinced me a while back to re-watch Mars Attacks! to get over my childhood trauma with it....did not work, in fact, now I'm more scared of that movie and everything that happens in it than ever before :cry:so you're not alone in that disastrous effort.
I want to watch the whole movie of Return to Oz now; shame we can't do a group watch so we can all virtually hold each other and scream at the scary bits.

The funny is that I love horror movies & games. But agreed on the give me gore pouring off the screen aspect.
You know the movie Nosferatu from 1922? Yeah there's a scene in that where he phases out of one building & slowly phases his way into another using 20's film technology to make it look kind of like mist-walking. It isn't an instant transition, it's this creaky process that just...had me hiding behind my sweaty, shaking hands while my heart raced and my breath stoppedo_O
 
I'm so sorry everyone! I didn't mean to traumatize... to make up for it, here's mine. To get to the comedy, kids, and Nintendo rentals at the video rental place, you had to walk past the horror section. (Whoever decided that arrangement was good is deranged) Anyway, 4 year old me goes walking past with me big intimidating dad and I see a picture on the cover of one of those movies. It was a "something" in a toilet with lots if teeth looking at you. I still can't go without checking, constantly. :blush:

I'm so excited for everything coming! I also might decorate a bit, but most importantly it's almost that time of the year to get some food to hang around the neighbourhood so all the little birdies can survive... I might even build and paint a birdhouse if I have the time.

It's almost halloween time! I'm looking forward to the games, I imagine that more people are like me not going to a physical party or seeing their friends this year. Thanks to everyone who is doing their best putting this all together!

Did you go to my local video store? O.o This was our set-up too!!! Everytime I see one of those covers that haunted me now, I make sure to watch the movie at some point
