Please open your swap box by 02/08/2025 (Feb 8th, 2025)!
This is so we will be able to step in in a timely manner if anything goes unexpectedly.

This thread is for you to post some photos of what you received, and to thank your swap partner.
You're welcome to have your ponies partake in your tea/coffee/cocoa package as well! Let's get creative! :)
After you receive your beverages, please do not forget to leave feedback on your partner profile(s)! Here's how to do that!

**Don't forget to post at least one photo that clearly shows all your goodies together!**
(These photos may be used in future promotion of MLPTP events. If you do not want your photo shared, please inform the swap host)

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact @Lackadaisy, @ChocolateStarfire , or @Gingerbread!

I signed up for THREE swap partners for this swap and just received my first box from @Daintress <3<3<3 who has done an absolutely fantastic job!

This adorably stickered box showed up at my front door when I came home from work and was such a nice surprise. I got some really hard news today and this absolutely brightened up my afternoon. :ponylove:

Here is what was inside:

IMG_4637.jpeg

IMG_4638.jpeg

Some were wrapped in fabric- which I ADORE :yellowheart: So much more sustainable to reuse and also I love sewing so I'm going to be putting this fabric to work on some fun quilting projects I have.

First I opened this wooden coaster that is MLP themed, and am in love. It will be going right next to my PC that resides in my pony room. Did you make this yourself?? I love it!!
IMG_4639.jpeg

The second gift I opened was this lovely tea mug and it had some goodies and stickers hidden inside! I'm so excited to use this, and what a cool idea to have the strainer for tea inside the mug.
IMG_4640.jpeg

The next gift held some dark chocolate espresso syrup to line my mug/cup and biscottis to enjoy with my coffee. They look so yummy!
IMG_4641.jpeg
Then, I opened this set of little coffee flavors (Amaretto is my FAVORITE and so hard to find. Its going in my coffee tomorrow morning ASAP) They look delicious and I love doing fun flavors in my coffee:
IMG_4643.jpeg

The next box had this caramel pear black tea- I can't wait to put it in my new tea to go cup :yellowheart: Also featured: very cute bear on top
IMG_4644.jpeg
Then a bag of ground coffee from a local shop which smells SO so so good! (I was seriously sniffing this bag for a solid 5 mins and would have immediately brewed a cup if it wasn't already 5pm by the time I got home! I'm going to make it tomorrow morning with breakfast!):

IMG_4645.jpeg
I also behaved and followed the instructions to open this gift last which was this beautiful homemade mug which I am in awe of how you crafted it! (seriously, I love this so so much and I cannot believe you made it!) that had a note and some more stickers and little ponies.

Here are all my goodies all together:

Thank you @Daintress again for being such a WONDERFUL swapper. This made my day so much better and was so fun to open everything up.

Wow @Daintress what a wonderful box! It worked out great in this instance, but remember everybody-- we aren't recommending that anyone ships fragile, heavy, or liquid ingredients. Daintress reached out to me to ask about mailing syrups, and I agreed that the small sample size syrups are ok if they are packed extremely securely. Mugs may break in transit and will greatly increase the price of shipping, so we are not recommending anyone mails mugs with their tea/cocoa/coffee. That being said, these are all wonderful gifts and caramel pear black tea sounds simply scrumptious! @Sparkleworks909 you are one lucky swapper! ❤️

What an amazing start to the swap! And yes, I agree with @Lackadaisy here--no matter what you can send, please ensure the focus is on the beverages the most! :) <3

So glad everything made it safely! Apologies if I went overboard. I had been experimenting with the unicorn mugs to see if I could use the Temu heat transfers on mugs and seal them with waterproof mod podge to make them dishwasher safe. I’d never used my mug press before and had literally JUST succeeded for the first time right before the swap was announced. Lol! So, I packed it in there as securely as possible and hoped for the best.

But yes, all the money was spent on the coffee and flavors and snacks, not on the extras. :)

I didn’t make the coaster. That was part of an order I placed last year just so I would have some extras to include with swap boxes. Now that you mention it though, I wonder if my heat press WOULD do that? I have a sublimation printer. In theory, with the right polyester coating, I should be able to put anything on a coaster that I can print….it bears thinking on for next time!

Glad you enjoyed opening it and it brightened your day!

Ooh a mug press! I would have so much fun playing with one of those. How is the dishwasher experiment going?

I am glad a I'm not the only one who orders a whole bunch of something when the price is right to include in future swap boxes! Those coasters are so cute <3

Oh, the dishwasher safe mod podge is tried and true! (After 28 days...) It was getting the unicorn ONTO the mug that took practice. I'm pretty sure that heat transfer decal was meant for fabric. And even on fabric, it worked differently from the vinyl I cut with my cricut. That stuff, you take the transfer film off immediately. But with these it seems to work much better if you let the whole thing cool and THEN remove the transfer film. I lost a few, doing it while it was still fresh out of the mug press....but they sent me like 2 dozen unicorn designs for $3, so it was a good pattern to practice with!

Amazing! I can't wait to see all the designs you come up with in the future!

Whoa, I also just noticed that great roll of stickers, where are they from?!

Also from Temu....though now I feel guilty about them, in case that art is stolen art too....

Try not to worry about it too much. You aren't the one who stole any art! If you want to be conscious of it in the future, just reverse image search the picture before you buy, and make sure it doesn't belong to an artist <3

Mine arrived!!

So I've been sick in bed for the past for days. Covid hit me full-force and it's been like having the flu and a bad head cold. Not fun. But because of this I didn't even realize the nice surprise on my doorstep!

Unfortunately this meant that the rain got to it before I did. The box was soggy, but the contents were mostly fine. I was so delighted to see what was inside! It was lovely wrapped teas and sweets from @ChocolateStarfire !

teaswap.png

Firstly, I was dazzled by the wrapping paper! How on earth did she find G3 paper?! Of course I had to fold it up and save it for some later reuse, lol. It's too cute not to! Also, I like the little wolfy clip that was included!

teaswap2.png

Unfortunately, the card didn't fare so well in the rain but I loved it all the same!

teaswap3.png

Onto the goodies! This green tea and white rose tea came at just the right time! It's definitely going to help me get through the home stretch of this nasty sick period I'm going through. I'm excited to try the milk tea kitkats, too! Thank you!!!

teaswap4.png

I jumped right into trying the white rose tea because rose tea is one of my favorites! Luckily, I regained my sense of smell and taste sometime yesterday, woohoo! Here's Autumn Skye and Pillow Talk enjoying the heavenly aroma!

Thanks very much again @ChocolateStarfire for sending these lovely teas! Your package brought me a lot of warmth and cheer when I've really been needing it. :redheart:

I'm so glad you got everything right when you needed it the most, and I'm glad you also enjoy rose tea! <3 I tried it at a karaoke lounge years ago and every time I can find some I get it! <3 I hope you get well soon, Stellaluna! <3

Oh my goodness...it's been a really rough and depressing start to this week in my part of the world and I cannot even express how finding my first swap package from @Lackadaisy waiting for me in the mailbox was like the biggest, sweetest, warm hug just when I needed it.

Adorable stickers on the package - and what a fun surprise to find out that Lackadaisy actually lives in the city where I grew up!

A sweet card and adorable stickers!

IMG_8714.jpeg

Adorable strawberry wrapping and some peeks at surprises to come!
IMG_8715.jpeg

I love the Yogi teas that I've tried but these varieties are new to me.

IMG_8717.jpeg

Two awesome new-to-me tea varieties - I'm very intrigued.

the BEST and absolutely sweetest part of everything was this adorable little book with a note to open it last.
IMG_8718.jpeg

I'm going to show every page because I'm just so touched by the sweet care Lackadaisy put into making this - she shared a bit about each of the teas, as well as how she enjoys preparing them. I really enjoy tea but I wouldn't say I'm very experienced or knowledgeable in the subject so this is such a wonderful way to get to try a bunch of new things. I was smiling so much as I read because we like a lot of similar flavors and I am so excited to try all her preparation suggestions. The note about the Egyptian Licorice made me LOL because I am also not typically a fan of licorice candy but I will absolutely hear you out and am excited to give it a try! <3 My daughter was unwrapping things with me (those are her little fingers in most of the photos) and she's so excited to try some tomorrow. It's extra perfect timing because as I type this it's snowing outside. This is the first actual snow accumulation we've had here in my part of North Carolina in 3 years and we've been anxiously awaiting it - we just got the notification we're having a snow day tomorrow! I'm all set for immaculate cozy vibes, top to bottom.

Thank you so much, Lackadaisy, for the thoughtful, sweet, package you put together for me, and for planning this swap. :rainbow: <3It's been almost 20 years since I last participated in a pony community swap and this truly feels like a cozy warm hug from a friend when I really needed one.

YAY @AquaLemon I'm so glad my package got to you at a time when it can help you chill out and cozy up! I can't wait to hear which one you like the best. So cool that you're a Columbus native! I moved here a few years ago and I absolutely love it. I am in the University district and it was really something else last night, driving through the neighborhood after OSU won the football National Championship. People were burning couches and beer pong tables on the sidewalks, everyone was so amped up! And there are so many places to go shopping for vintage and secondhand items. I am still learning about the city, too. I love finding myself in new areas and neighborhoods and seeing what they are all about. Do you have any recommendations for your favorite spots around town?

Yesterday I received pony mail & was excited as I knew it from from!! The great & fantastic @Lackadaisy :coolpony:
IMG_4438.jpeg

But I didn’t have time to open it as I made a double batch of potato soup which takes two hours start to finish not including clean up. My boss & a coworker gobbled up the extra I brought in today & I told another coworker, who really wanted to try it, but snooze you lose with those vultures :lolpony: so I marked a Tupperware with her name for tomorrow. Plus I had some other pony business to attend to! The light box salon has been busy! So I was excited to get home tonight so I could open and enjoy my time opening everything :satisfied:
IMG_4444.jpeg

What a wonderful card & stickers! All the stickers are great I love nostalgia but I think the Jem one is my favorite! Also, since I haven’t had time to post my recent purchase I’ll share it here. I bought sticker books as my laptop quickly became covered and I’ve discovered these swaps involve lots of stickers! So when is dedicated to just MLP stickers & the second for all the others! @Neelah began the sticker barrage with the Halloween swap…it goes for a few pages :lolpony: Excited to add my new additions!!

I love the wrapping paper! The hot cocoa is definitely happening tonight!! The coffee tomorrow morning!! I’m a light coffee girl as long term dark gets my GERD acting up! So many flavors of tea and I’ll admit I haven’t found my cup of tea yet but I think this will change because of the wonderfully delightful Lackadaisy’s favorites manual! The rat stamps are so adorable & fitting! I had to show my boyfriend has he owned rats as a teenager plus I told him by starting so this is from the girl who raises rats as I’ve shown him the pictures. I’m sure he would love to have some again but we don’t have room and well then there’s Sophie meow.

Thank you so much for all your gifts and time you put into them @Lackadaisy :ponylove:…I’ll try to remember to report back on my tea trials plus vanilla syrup made it onto my grocery list! :winkpony:

Now I need to work on finishing my cards so I can ship my packages out Saturday! Being under the weather for the past month has got me playing catchup!

The little rat doodles OMG those are to cute!!!

@DreamValley80's I'm happy to hear you're a fan of light roast! I took a gamble because I find that one to be very likeable, even by people (MY PARENTS) who "don't like Starbucks coffee". I brewed Veranda Blend at home for several years until I very recently switched to medium roast. Also very cool that your fella used to have rats! What were their names? You'll have to let me know how that cocoa is. I got it at a very fancy local grocer and it looks delicious, but I don't eat sugar so I couldn't try it myself!

It's a rubber stamp set I got from one of those cheapy online stores. I was happy to have a reason to break it out!

@Lackadaisy so I asked Tim what his rat’s names were and he could only remember Ben. I asked why did you name him Ben and he said he couldn’t remember why. Trying to jog his memory I asked how many did you have and he thinks ten. Teenage boys back in the 90’s were so attentive :rolleyespony: I’ll blame his ADHD :winkpony::lolpony:

But he did enjoy letting them run around out of their cages and he could have Ben sit on his shoulder and stroll through the woods. :ponylove:

Ben is the name of the rat from the Michael Jackson song! I sing it to my little ratties sometimes :twohearts: I love how really special rats will go on adventures with you.

Tim is very much into music…I’ll have to ask him tonight to see if this rings any bells :winkpony:
