ahhh... any more advice for Jewel, anyone?

If you should say no deal, you would have to open 3 more cases. Currently you have a safety net of 3 cases. If you keep those in play, the offer will skyrocket.
 
Hmmm... not sure what I'd do in Jewel's shoes. There aren't all that many cool ponies left. Then again, it's only pretend, so you can as well go for it!

Closely related - we find the probabilities of opening a case or a group of cases, and use it to find the expected value, which is what the bank SHOULD offer. The banker usually offers a lot less than the expected value! It's one of my favorite topics to teach. :)

I am sticking with that gut feeling, but let's hope I'm wrong!

they ALWAYS seem to offer way less than they should. I've seen people have like a 50/50 shot at the million and they will offer such a lowball... it always ticks me off.

But if I seem to be offering less pony value than I should be... this is why lol
 
thebeth this is such a cool game! Tee he, it makes me laugh when you see all the different Deal or No Deal formats around the world and how they are slightly different.

We have it here in the UK, and when I watch the Australia version it was slightly different.
