Pony challenge! What's this about a plastic tail? :O
Guest, The MLPTP's Fundraiser and Prize Giveaway will be returning on June 1st! Check out this thread for all the latest news!
What I would try and do is cut it off, sand the area and then try to sculpt over it. But I don’t know what materials I would use. The base looks like such a good mould though! It’s molded on. Too bad I can’t think of a way to put in hair for a tail

I would be very careful about the oven as my first custom melted in the oven (then again, I forgot to remove the magnet it was a G3). I always prefer using what I have on hand tooI will have to look again to see if its doable! I was thinking maybe polymer clay, but not sure how to harden it as I fear the plastic might melt in the oven. Its the only thing I have on hand. I don't have it in front of me, but it would leave a sizable hole.
I think it's a very close mold to the sitting Bubbles pose. the ears, the horn and the muzzle is the only difference I saw
This is a good shout. I wonder if @Skybreeze has any good ideas? If you cut it off you could use Milliput, it's very strong and air dries. I think this girl is in good hands

I realised the body is all in one. How will the tail get in?
I like Green Stuff, it's very plasticky once you mix the two colours. It's used in miniature making, I mean to use it on Starflower when I get to her.there's an opening on the bottom of the pony I can take a pic of later. I can easily get a tail in!
Milliput is a good idea, i forgot that existed! But I am always open for more suggestions!
When i saw her being sold, she was at 5 below as a "paint your own pony"

If anyone can do it it's you!For giggles, I picked up this fake thing from the thrift store to clean up. It has the same sitting Bubbles pose, same MLP eye design. Just a little bigger with a plastic tail. I hope I can make her all white again!
There's this stuff called Sugru. MandaPanda on YouTube uses it for custom work. Seems pretty easy to work with but I don't know personally.there's an opening on the bottom of the pony I can take a pic of later. I can easily get a tail in!
