Great work! <3 I have a Baby Frosting who’s in rough shape comin’ in soon, nice to see she cleans up well. First time I’ll be cleaning rusty beddy bye eyes, so I wasn’t exactly sure how their eyes sat inside until your photos lol

I'm glad to be of help! I like to show photos for references and such, it's really helpful for me too visually.

I want to see your BBE restoration when done!
 
I agree the pink hair really makes the symbol pop. Beautiful!
 
If its ball point pen you should be ok... but I'm not entirely sure it is o_0
 
Oof that’s a lot of ink, best of luck to ya! I’m interested to see how well you can fade it out; pen and marker are my sworn enemies in restoration :madpony:
 
I may just be too impatient, I’ll admit! I assume they need a lot more time than the usual yellowing to see any movement.

I certainly don’t blame you for being cautious with an argie, I would be too! :surprisepony:

I find them unannounced on my doorstep. No idea how @darklys finds them all, and I have what.. 12 nirvanas to restore, rehair and spa up now? More? I lost count :rofl:

I love it though. My favorite part of restoring these beauties is seeing the differences between theirs and US versions. Like Mexican Moondancer has 3 rows of hair in her mane while US has 2. Or the way the tail's been separated by color by string and clamped with a thick clamp. The size differences in the mold. The differences in eye paints and such, I love it! I really should do a comparison thread.

Must be so surprising to have them just turn up! Open a box with no idea what to expect and it’s a bunch of hard-to-find variant ponies!

Do you have a pink haired Argie Moondancer?? I fell completely in love with her, but I’ve only ever seen maybe two photos of her online :cry: I’ve pretty much given up hope on ever owning her, but I would love to see photos of yours if you have it!
