Restoring Frosting I found the other day. Poor girl was rusted out! I also dyed her hair bright pink. Will post finished when she’s dried and out back together

Wow how did you derust he eyes? I have a BBE Gusty needing this treatment.

I softened the plastic with hot water and carefully and partially popped the eye out from the inside (as you can see in one of my photos). I used a toothbrush with white toothpaste and scrubbed the rust off. I patted dry before pushing the eye back in to try to prevent future rusting again. You may need to heat up the plastic again with a blow dryer to push the eye back in. Easy but not a pretty sight lol
 
Its crazy how clean you got her :O Do the eyes just pop back in?
 
thanks, that is great info. I have her all ready to display except those rusty eyeballs....I will have to try that this weekend.

Yeah, I had the same with twinkle eyes. They pop out really easily, but good luck getting them back in!

Baby Frosting has white hair, so maybe the pink tint came from something else! But this shade is really interesting on her!! :D
 
that hair color really pops on her! makes her look not so washed-out. i like this better than her original :)
 
I welcome all and any baby frostings lol!

I need to find them a new spot to hang out in my room (that is still currently a disastrous mess lol)
