As the title says, I now finally possess my childhood grail and the pony who I turned down for another even though I really like this one.
I had always wanted that blue-winged Star Catcher as a little kid and every other time I saw her I was never allowed to get or she had no wings. To me, blue-wing Star Catcher was the “proper” Star Catcher.
Every other time out of stores I came across her, she had lost her wings apart from once at a boot sale she had her wings but it happened to be a day I couldn’t get any ponies.
Citrus Sweetheart is “the pony who got away” as you could call her. On a holiday trip as little kid I was allowed to get a pony. I saw her, I loved her, the colour scheme was perfect (my favourite colours) but for some reason I chose Paradise Island for heck knows what reason. I thought I’d be able to get her another time but I had never ever seen her again in person.
Since it was my birthday recently I was looking for ponies online (I usually just look, not buy, I only get my ponies from the charity shops ponies or gifted them) and then I came across a listing for both of these ponies. It was perfect. My most wanted ponies since childhood in good condition and for a reasonable price together! So…
Here is how they arrived yesterday
And after a quick magic erase and styling…
Not the best place in the garden to get a picture but the lighting wasn’t the best anywhere else. Not even outside was sunny enough…
I am so pleased to finally have these ponies! I’ve always wanted Star Catcher to be with my Skywishes and now I can finally do that and get group photos with Baby Honolu-loo!
I didn’t realise how thin her wings are ever…
As for Citrus Sweetheart, here she is with the pony who was chosen over her and an orange (or satsuma… tangerine?):
I just wanted to share some pony joy
