She is coming along great! I am still sitting on my first custom project, too much else to do at the moment. I have rehaired a pony once or twice and I didn't think it was that bad. The painting parts are what intimidates me but you've done that great so I think you'll be fine. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Thank you, thank you... I'm really glad you're all liking her.

And, well.... I certainly didn't expect to get this next step done so quickly, but... um... yeah. She's already fully re-haired! :surprisepony: You were right, @Gingerbread ... the re-hairing actually wasn't that bad. Worst part were the hair strands tangling and slipping off each other. I used the double-strand floss technique, and it went very quickly! I was surprised! I just put on some shows that were sitting on my PVR and went to work!

I have to go to Michaels' to pick up some Mod Podge to seal the hair inside her head, so I can wash and then set it, and... ...then she'll be done! Wow. I am a bit stunned how fast it went, actually, but I think I'm quite proud of myself. :3 Photos of her all nice + pretty will be coming once her hair's had time to set (and I get a nice sunny day to go out and take pictures - won't get that for a little while).

I would recommend fabri-tac/fabric glue or even tacky glue over mod podge for the hair.

Those shades of green are so pretty! Well done!
I think I used the same technique for my first and only pony rehair and too didn’t find it too bad as well.

That was the technique I used as well. Her hair is beautiful, great color selection!

Love her with hair!!! (It's secretly my favorite part) you'll find you get better with practice

Thanks everyone! For her hair, I got it from Dollyhair, which had good colour matches for Masquerade's hair colours.

@Lilykin - I've already got the mod podge, so I'll see how that works for me. If I find I didn't like it, I'll try the tacky/fabric glue next time.

She’s looking awesome! The hair colors look like an exact match for Masquerade too :)

Oh my goodness! She is amazing and so beautiful, the green stone is such a perfect match. Wonderful job! You should be very proud.
