Found a single Pipp. Didn't pick her up because I don't like the closed wings, but check the shelves on the check out lines.

Hi everyone! Style of the day Misty and Pipp got listed on Amazon very recently. I normally try and find things in person, but with a Misty toy, I couldn't wait! She came yesterday and I love her so much. I'll include some pictures so anyone curious can take a look at her as well!

Here's her box! I was surprised because with Opaline, if you order her through Amazon, she comes in a closed box (as some individuals here have shared!). However, in person, the box is 'open' and you can see and touch Opaline. I wonder why there's an inconsistency there. As with other plastic-free packages, someone can reach in the box and mess with Opaline's hair. Misty's hair seems to be more protected in the box by that piece of cardboard holding most of her hair back, which is good!

Here are a few pictures of Misty herself! She has a lot of hair, it's amazing. I haven't washed her hair yet, so I can't be confident about the quality of it. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I feel like G5 hair usually feels softer and nicer after a wash! I'm a little nervous because I don't want to accidentally remove her curls, though. Because her hair is so curly, if you were to straighten a piece, her hair is exceptionally long!
I don't want to include too many pictures, but I am so, so excited about her. She is just barely shorter than a typical G5 fashion style. I love that her hooves are that beautiful indigo/periwinkle color; that is such a nice detail, and it looks amazing!
There are so many more details to go over that I love, but that's all for now I have been so eagerly awaiting the Style of the Day line, especially since this is our first Misty toy!! Let me know what you all think, and if you're planning on getting any ponies from this line!

Holy guacamole,that is a lot of hair! I wish they'd lay off the half moulded hair though. She didn't need it at all. Congrats ponyvilla. Took a look on Amazon, and noticed something about temperature in one of the stock photos. Does she have color changing plastic somewhere?

She is! Putting her next to a fashion style Pipp, their heights are very similar, but Misty is just a bit smaller and thinner. Misty is also a lot lighter in terms of weight, which even with the articulation, makes posing her pretty limited. I think I prefer the Style of the Day line, though. She feels much more like a toy, not just a figure! We will see how I feel once the novelty has worn off, though

You should be able to maintain the curl even with a wash, as long as you don't use any heat on it! Nylon hair has a very strong 'memory' so curls are actually pretty hard to get rid of. if you wanted to rinse her hair with conditioner and detangle it, you should be able to bring back the curl by squeezing it with a towel, then a paper towel and then scrunch it up with your palm! You can also pull out individual strands and curl them around your finger for some more volume.

Super excited for this set, especially Misty! The new head sculpt is excellent, much more reminiscent of the Singing Pipp (the best g5 head so far imo) than the Fashion Styles, it even looks like they moved the seam to the side of the head rather than the unsightly mold line across the nose that the FS ponies have.

Thank you so much for the advice!! I think I'm gonna wash her hair tonight. It's beautiful as is, but a little help after being shipped in a box might be appropriate! The rounder face design makes the Style of the Day line look so nice. I didn't order Zipp or Pipp (yet!), but I'd love to see their faces just to compare the screening across different molds. This new line makes me so excited, especially since it's been so long since the last G5 toy release, aside from those crystal-like ponies from the dollar store!

Bleh, the styled part of the hair being plastic irks me the same way Opaline's does. But otherwise it's gorgeous, and I adore the slightly different body shape. Plus cute accessories! Yes!

Could be a factory flaw, or early onset of head/body mismatch? I've noticed that its already happened with Favorites Together Twilight Sparkle.

It could be? Maybe it could also be the heads being squishier and the body’s being hard plastic? I’m not sure. It just reminds me of the bath bottles instead

Wow!! Super cute! I don't think we have these where I am. Their heads look pretty round, I love it!! I agree that they almost look like bubble bath bottles. The Sunny bag is silly, but so cute I love the kind message on it! Thanks for sharing these!!

No problem! I quite like the tag on the bag and the heads do look pretty round, don’t they? If they were a bit smaller maybe I would have considered them but since I’m not that close to home right now and had a bit more space

I quite like those two too as favourites. Before the film I didn’t expect Izzy to be as favourite as she is for me but then she became favourite up there with Zipp. Hitch is one as well for me, and Misty
