The SDCC exclusive comic cover is very cute, and it is included in the back of the comics in what I call an "art section" but I can only assume it has a more official name. The G5 part of the comic was so cute. Like, really really adorable. IDW does a really great job at writing these ponies, and the references to G1 in this part of the comic we really good ones. Which is strange to say but the first comic mentioned that the G1 ponies live in Equestria, which is like a huge no-no to G1 fans!!! I thought the irony of what they were saying was funny and cute as well. I included some pictures in a little spoiler here in case people don't want spoilers, but I wanted to share a little bit with you all.

I love the IDW comics. I feel like if there is one G5 media to get into it is the comics. I try and support them as best I can which includes urging others to buy them so.. if you're interested, get the 40th anniversary comic!! The first story was pretty long and wasn't my favorite, but the other two were so fun and it felt like they cared a bit more about G1 / the magic of having multiple generations. Priced at less than $10, I think it's worth it!! There are also many beautiful illustrations of the collector's pose ponies, especially Snuzzle, which made me happy because I love her.

My sibling stopped at a local comic store and grabbed it for me! I usually buy a digital copy on Apple Books and read it that way, but I believe they should be available on Amazon.

Yes, exactly! I love this section because all of the MLP cover arts are so fun!!

I haven't seen the pack with Queen Haven,Jazz and Misty at stores. Perhaps stock hasn't reached our state yet?

This generation doesn't seem to be doing as well in the toy department as previous ones as I hardly see anything in stores and what I do see in stores is the same stuff that's been sitting there for months.

I agree with this sentiment for in-person stores. I think G5 shines mainly through e-commerce, as MLP seems to have big ties to Amazon. Target's MLP stock isn't very big in-stores but they have a wide selection available online. I would say G5 isn't doing well due to this but we have seen from the 2024 G5 presentation shared by the g5mlp news source that Tell Your Tale is bringing in a lot of toy sales. And, I do not believe Hasbro would continue to make new releases for this gen if it wasn't profitable; They are pruning Make Your Mark because it doesn't bring in enough sales, so if G5 wasn't making money, I assume they would stop producing content, and not order a second season of Tell Your Tale. Perhaps not doing as well as other generations, but well enough for G5 fans not to worry about it coming to an end too soon. Although, I would much rather pony shop in-person!! I am still holding out hope that the Bridlewoodstock ponies will trot on over to Target or Walmart..
 
I hope that Hasbro will be able to make the plot better and continue G5, although it is rather unsuccessful (the original plot, in general, it was necessary to make the ending of G4 the beginning for G5, there would be so many ideas for the reign of Twilight + 3D animation is not very good), but I still have there is hope.

I also really want Celestia and Luna to be returned, they are probably still alive, I want to know what happened to other creatures, where they are all, and so on

I got Royal Gala set by finding it in a store randomly*, if not for a friend knowing what that square carton even was, I would not have known ^^'

The new brushable set with Haven and Jazz makes me wonder if they’re moving away from the molded mane articulated ponies to static brushable ones. Kinda hope not, the hair quality on the (little) brushables so far is Not Good.
