Are you a color person?

A pose person?

Pony type person? Earth, Unicorn, Pegasus

Do you mix Gens?

Do you put your "important" ones higher than the others?

Do you snatch the store display/packaging? ( I have lol ) ​
 
Well, my Firefly army is pretty well organized. Everything else is randomly boxed/stacked/tossed in a corner. >_< I need more shelves. What I do have displayed is by Gen/year/set because otherwise I lose track of what I have & what I need.
 
My childhood ponies are all in a box under my bed but they are all in little groups.
On my shelf, I have my Breezies and figures along with my ponies I’ve gotten outside of childhood
 
I don’t have enough g1s or 2s to be separated or displayed by anything so they’re just all sitting together. I also don’t have many G4s, especially not a lot of the same characters. They fit nicely on what I have them on with room for one or two more but there’s no method to my madness there.
I’m still building up my G3’s and I’ve been separated them out by their “display” sides and then putting them in rainbow order. Tho kinda hard when most of them are pink and purple! (I’ll attach a pic!) But with me having a bag full of ponies I need to wash and also wanting to collect every g3, I’m going to have to figure something out soon might do same poses then in rainbow order...

Is that a baby lollipop I spot in front? I didn’t know there was a baby version of her :D
I like how they’re kinda spilling out of the shelf :lolpony:
 
They're on shelves however they fit. The babies, fakies, g4s, flutters and winger are in rectangular Christmas cookie tins. The sea ponies are in decorated glass jars. The few blindbag sized ponies, are in my Strawberry Shortcake lunch box.


@AzaleaArt That's Baby Sweet Tooth. The TAF Babies are mail orders and quite popular.
 
Ooh! Could you imagine a second set of TAF Babies? :ponylove:

Yes im a color person

I have them displayed by pose but some displayed by families too

I lean towards Pegasus for sure and Unicorn sorry earths.

My gens arent mixed I have things in sections.

I have a glass case for the rare ones but it lost a glass :/

I think I do have some things around here.

 
I used to display G1s by family, but they're displayed by type right now. I might go back to families though LOL. My G3s are displayed by color and my G4s are kind of just displayed willy-nilly in front of my G3s. I only have 3 shelves and a (relatively) smaller collection so there's some gen mixing going on :)
 
G1s: by set, then pose, variants together, Babies with their moms, families together, Playsets with their ponies or sets I associate with. Babies, adul

G2: pose?, adults, babies

G3: attempted sets then pose but I tend to get them mixed up, babies, adults

G4: willy nilly on castle playsets, with their associated ponies and princesses, then by character and pose
 
As of right now, I have them organized by body color. It looks nice, but I think when I move, I'm going to organize by year/wave. Especially for my G3s. I think this will also help with figuring out which ponies I'm missing.
But then again, I love to organize by breed or by super long hair, etc.
