MLPTP EVENT * MLPTP's 2022 Holiday Card Swap! *

So I was gonna send out wax seals with my cards, but they use a lot of wax (I just found out lol) So they will not be used on my cards. I got this for Christmas last year cause I’ve wanted a wax seal for so long, so Shark (my boyfriend) got me this custom one!

So I’ll show them to you here I’m afraid it’s gonna throw my cards over 1oz lol cause of how much wax I gotta use

This is my very first attempt at doing wax seals and yes, I may have burned myself a little lol

That is so so cool! I didn't have a scale and had absolutely no idea how much 1 oz looked like, so I used a lot less material than I wanted for the cards and didn't realize until I got to the PO to weigh them that I was underweight and could have done so much more

I've just sent my cards out! I wasn't able to draw everyone's ponies like I'd hoped, but there's still a little something special for everyone!
I received my first one from RelinaRedStar a few days ago, but I didn't want to open it until after I'd sent mine out. I'm excited for the rest to arrive too!

Sounds like you already went above and beyond and set a huge task for yourself in a short amount of time! Don't fret about it, they'll be wonderful either way

Funny enough I don't think they even bothered trying to weigh mine while I was there. I don't think the weight got effected much but still, the thought's pretty funny that I strolled in with 25 cards and they were just like "nope" haha

I recently discovered a youtube channel called "Let's Game It Out" and it's my new favourite thing. So basically, "How far can I take this before I break the post office?" -comes in with thousands of cards-

Haha, definitely, but overdoing it is kinda my thing :b For something I'm giving to/making for someone else, it's worth the extra effort. Each person's card has something a little bit different, something to try to personalize it. I'm pretty happy with what I did get done!

My cards are pretty generic it’s what I was used to in card swaps in the past on other websites!

Everyone is so worried about not being good enough. Any card is fine really!! None of them are lame or less than anyone else. It's a super fun swap and it's all about having fun and sharing love with new friends. I'm super excited about all of them. Thanks for hosting such a great swap @Sassarazzmadazzles I can't wait to see my 24 cards show up. My hubby called me the other day and said "so it begins" and the last two days and says you got another one . So far I have 3.

my cards went out today! i also have chicken scratch...and might have smudged a few words before the gel ink dried but everyone gets a sticker! they luckily arrived yesterday evening, i don't know what i would have done with all those pony stickers if they were late.

I cut it close Friday but with my little sister's help we got them all in the mail (shout out to her she cut up the tiny stickers for y'all!) I tried to be cool and support a local print shop... who lost my order and then couldn't get them printed in time. So I got my refund and had them printed at wal-fart... who also screwed up my order. Good news is I finally bought a paper trimmer so the cards would fit in the envelopes!

It's been awhile since I've drawn and printed anything but I hope y'all enjoy them.
