CONVENTION Pony Friends Forever Convention - 2022!

You will make lots of money and have plenty to also spend to add ponies to your collection. I’ve always vended at every fair and convention . Last year , I had a table at PFF and the money I made paid for hotel, plane ticket, and I bought a bunch of ponies . Picture below if my table and all the stuff I bought
What is that material with the g1 ponies on it? Very cute

Oh!!! I have lots to sell! Maybe I can afford it then. Do have any tips? This would be my first time vending if I decide to do it!

I don’t have much to sell, 2-3. Would it be ok to bring them to trade?

I took ponies to trade last year! Had a couple of good trades :)

Oh, I didn't realize this had been posted here, as well!

What are vendor sales usually like? I have been wanting to go for a while. I'm selling my pony collection so I'm thinking about getting a vendor table. This looks like so much fun, I appreciate all of the work that goes into organizing this. :)
I am definitely planning to go as ham as I can on buying ponies and pony products >u>

Vendor tables are running low, I believe there are 10 available. :)
Ohhh, how exciting! I came across a couple of people on Instagram who've bought tables, I'm pretty hyped.

Ohhh, my! That's pretty intense. Congratulations! I hope I've put aside enough budget haha

Is it advised to bring cash only for purchases? I just don’t have enough for a table, maybe if I hadn’t sent all those ponies away a year and a half (2 years?) ago.

I brought cash. Some people offered PayPal, but the hotel did have an atm if I remembered right

I've been thinking a lot about possibly applying for an art and crafts table... Mainly poster prints of my pony art and some hand-made welcome signs to hang on the door of your pony room. And possibly enamel pins if I can get them produced in time. Is any of that something that would be fitting for the con?

Would sharing a table be an option? Costs would be shared of course…. We wouldn’t need to physically bring a table, so they are already set sizes, yes?

oh, and yes, I think artwork items would sell. I haven’t been to one, but lots of people like handmade and unique artwork.

I actually bought 3 or 4 artwork things last year!

Haha, honestly all of this talk of buying tables is really piquing my mind. :Flutter4: I chose against it this year because I want to just enjoy my first con and not worry about having to tend to something like a table, but I'll definitely have to try it another time!

So I've seen people, mostly vendors I think, at other cons getting badges/lanyards with their characters printed on them. Is that something anyone does for something like PFF?

If sharing is allowed and I end up going, I'd be willing to share!

I mentioned this last year either here or another place, but i didnt see anybody with a pony badge, but i did think about doin it for myself, i just ran outa time

I've done wearable character badges/nametags like this at other conventions, but never for a pony event. I think making ponysona badges could be a lot of fun! I might bring my portable laminator and art supplies with me in case anyone wants one made on the spot. I'd like to make one for myself, but I'm always a little torn on what my ponysona actually is, haha.
