HOw do I do a small symbole for these ponies? I have gotten me some made, but can't figure out the symbols.

One of the easiest ways to do it is to use Paint, with the pencil tool at its smallest size. :)

I recently discovered a free program called Paint.Net which is like Windows Paint but with a lot more features. Like being able to make transparent backgrounds. :)
 
I hate MSPaint for that very reason.

What's more, the older version I had of it last year allowed you to save things as transparent. I will never understand why they got rid of that feature. o_O

I keep having to ask friends with Photoshop or another program to convert them for me. >.<
 
So that's what happened. o_O I remembered Paint being able to do transparent backgrounds and that's why I chose it as the default program in the instructions. However, after I started writing it I couldn't figure out how to do it anymore. I thought my memory was playing tricks on me. That's why the instructions aren't quite complete. XD

I'll add instructions for paint.net instead I guess. :p
 
Lol, yeah. I think it was when they upgraded to the next version of MSPaint, along with Word and everything when Windows came out with newer versions of Office and such. ;)

I was so ANGRY. LOL!!
 
They are sooo cute! But the ponymaker isn't working for me... :cry: Am I doing something wrong? I'm clicking, holding down my mouse button and dragging the pony to the background, but it just sort of disappears under the border...

Would it be posible to take a screenshot of what is happening?

The code I'm using is supposed to work for both IE and Firefox's latest versions. Maybe even a version older. However, I have no idea how it works on other browsers and since I didn't make the code, I don't think I would know how to fix it anyhow. :p

If it doesn't work for you, I'll be happy to put the ponies together for you instead. Just let me know what you would like. :)
 
I solved the problem: It must have been my browser, (I use Opera 'cause IE has given me a lot of grief over the years *lol*) But now I opened a window in IE and it works perfectly!

Oh wow those are great. :shock:

I updated the ponymaker with a few new graphics. I added flowers/jewels (they're so small they can pass for both honestly) bows, princesseseseseses hats (what is the plural of princess anyway?), big brother hats (all but three, I'm working on it) and bunnies.

I'm adding a few more animals, like cats, dogs, birds, butterflies (yes I know they're techically insects ;P), ferrets and rats. Also, mermaid tails because sea/mermaid ponies don't get enough attention as it is.

However, I'm going to stop trying to get all these updates done in a day because I been undermining so many other things. I need to catch up on my own messageboard and do my duties at the exchange. I'm sorry if I been neglecting some of you lately, I'm trying to get this done so I don't leave half done like I usually do. :/
 
Oh my lord, you made BUNNIES! My favorite animal (you know me as bunnacious-one on D.A.) Now if only I could draw a forsaken symbol that looked half way decent... :x
edit: symbol still looks bad, but here's Foxglove with my real life bunny, Ezra (shortened the ears cuz he's a dwarf):

Oh I know! The symbols are the hardest. Took me nearly an hour to get Silvered's right.
 
Hi there,

Obviously it's based on Spirit - Stallion Of The Cimarron. ;) It took forever to do the shading on rain, but I managed it. ^_^ Thanks again Cardinal Melody for making this Pony Maker, I love it to death. :D

This is an awesome ponymaker, thank you so much for putting it together! :)

This makes me want to go out and buy/learn how to use PSP just so I can attempt the gorgeous colouring/shading jobs y'all manage...
 
[Update 09-20-05] Hats, extra decoration, animals and mermaids tails have been added.

I'm adding more animals which one of these would you like to see next:

-Ferrets
-Rats
-Cats
-Dogs
-Birds

(I'm adding all of these eventually, I just want an idea on what I should focus on next).
