Post random thoughts.

I wonder why hasbro never made a twinkle eye with a rock candy or crystal symbol?

That would've been so cool! It also would've tied into their backstory as miners. :)

As for my random thought - I think G3 has the best color combos. They're really adventurous and bright!
I agree. There's a lot of bright or unusual color schemes.

Watching “The Toys that Made Us” actually made me sad because MLP wasn’t originally created with any enthusiasm. The first designer wanted them to look like real horses and she was told no so she basically created the first six under disdainful duress, slapping together their colors and “butt symbols” and dropping random names on them that she didn’t care about just so they had something to put on shelves. Knowing that our beloved originals were made by someone who didn’t care and didn’t even like them…

ReUnicorno and Prince Amethyst do. There's also a regional variant of Baby Ribbs that's a pegasus! But yeah there totally shoulda been way more.
I do not know of these! Wait is ReUnicorno the one that looks like Majesty? I wanna see pictures

Despite being one of the most common species, breezies outnumber g3 unicorns. That's rather unusual for a minor species to outnumber a common one. It's the only generation that has ever had such a thing happen to date.

Ahh, capitalism at it's "finest." I thought something similar. Like the more current scenario of the production team trying to rush the end of beloved franchise, "Game of Thrones," the original mlp developers were doing it to get it done. Similar with their story of how SheRa came to be, and how the male He-man team hated the idea. Different times, different modes of thinking. The consolation I suppose, is that we love these things and need no validation from the original creators, though it's nice to have when it's available. I watched that same documentary, and thought, it was the sheer will of our generation, the kids of the 80s that really gave life to these toys. That our imagination was what gave these things life, no matter how significant or insignificant to the adults at the time. We needed no validation or logic, just that we love what we love because we love it. Never fear, Look how far we've come from that!
