MLPTP EVENT Roll Back the Tombstone, Let the Saints Appear (Step #5 Discussion)

this will go well i think, my only problem is time :-( my boyfriend is going to the hospital again tomorrow, so i'm hoping my mum will drive me to my grandparents grave on wednesday.

i have an angel to put on their grave aswell ^_^ <3

i'm loving this hunt wolfie!
 
This will be tricky as I now have to figure out how to get into a graveyard at night. However I think I already have a plan in motion!! This should be a lot of fun :D
 
This should be fun, my friend Ash and I used to sneak into graveyards at night in high school and try to contact ghosts... lol.
 
some cemeteries are gated and locked at night - they have open to the public hours during the day.
 
yep, you aren't supposed to go in at night, they even have guards at some of them... but that never stopped us, lol.
 
All done, phew!! My skin was crawling the entire time *shivers* My sister was rather blase about whole thing (she's the one in the Carebear sweatshirt, I'm the scared stiff one lol)
 
Well Dragonlady at least you didn't almost fall in an open one like I did one year! I nearly wet myself clinging to the star picket and trying not to drop Yum Yum in.

wow, here people can come as go as they want. there are alot of people who walk through them because there's no way round or a really long way :p

your gravesites look so different then ours aswell.

I think it depends if it's a really old cemetery or an active one. The one my bf and I went to wasn't very big and had tombs of people who died in the early 1900's. After one shot I was like "OK let's get out of here!!" ^_^;; Hehe my Lil Outlaw shirt is so fitting for my bf and me sneaking into a graveyard at night. ;)
 
Eeek, you guys are brave, there's no way I could do this. I've seen too many dreadful horrow films and I'm a wimp for spooky stuff.

Can't wait to see the other new entries coming in. :fork:
 
Okay, I think I am going to try and get this step done tomorrow night! I'm nervous about it b/c the graveyard closest to our house is gated so I think that one's out of the question. However I do believe there is another one about 30 minutes away that I don't *think* was gated. Hopefully I'm right b/c I've been unsuccessful convincing my boyfriend to sneak into any cemetaries. :lol:
 
Ohmygosh! I thought I wasn't going to get this done.

I had an adventure though let me tell you!

I took Nightlight with me because she is my favorite pony of all time, plus I think she looks rather festive with her moon and all..

I put her in my hoodie pocket and then looked around for a grave.. I found one that siad "Moon" on it! OMG! *perrfect!*
So then I go back to the car to get the camera...I checked my pocket and I realized I had lost Nightlight! *PANIC MODE!!*
I was frantic!
I looked all though the grass and by the car.. I dug under the seats and on the dash.. nothing.

I looked between gravestones but my poor baby was nowere to be found D:
So we went home.. Hoping against all odds that I had left her by the computer desk.
I checked and checked but she was missing from there too.
Horrible! That pony has way too much sentimental value. I was tryin' not to cry really.

I thought I should still get the photo so I grabbed another G1 and went to the Cemetairy "Wait I see something blue!" said my Uncle...

and who should be lying in the middle of the road but my beloved Natchlicht!! I was *So* happy to have her back it was like Christmas!
She suffered a tiny scratch to her DS symbol but I really don't care! At least I have her back!! We went to get some shots by the cemetairy and then realized we had no batteries.. So we drove out to get some batteries...drove back AGAIN to the graveyard and were froze stiff by the time we got back but we had lots of fun.

oh.. And then we came home and had a fabulous fish dinner and watched a horror movie... The end!! :p :2232:
 
i called my friend and she agreed to go out and take me. we didnt have too much trouble looking for it. but when we got there the sun was almost done setting. then we noticed the gate was closed but not locked. we went inside looking for the right grave that would work for the pic. she took a few of just me before setting the timer to join me. it was creepy being in the cemetery at night. i was even telling the grave, sorry, i don't mean any disrespect. i was even careful not to step on the dirt of the grave. but i got it done. if theres a new thread where we can show our pics, i will show my others.
 
YIKES Corpsey! Glad the spirits didn't do away with Nightlight! I wonder what story she could tell about what "really" happened to her in the graveyard and why she was abducted!
