I've got just a little bit more to do. This new batch of apoxie that I've got seems stickier than the last batch that I had. It could just be me and my other batch was a few months old.
 
I got my hair in the mail yesterday,but I am still waiting on my bait.If the bait takes to much longer to get here I might use Strawberry Swirl as my bait,even though she is not in baity condition.:cheshire:

yea my newer apoxie was a lot stickier than my old batch, i think it just gets less sticky and cures faster as it ages.

I'm thinking it does too.

Oh and if you need a bait, you can always go to the dollar store and get the dollar store fakie knockoffs. They look just like G3's, just a bit skinnier.
 
For painting on mine, I'm debating if I want to go with the manga colors or the anime colors. It's a tough decisions on this one and it only varies by a few shades.

Again I order something that's out of stock even though the website says it's in. My hair isn't here yet either. ; ;
 
I've finished sculpting. I'm not happy with it. :( i've never used sculpty before. i'm never going to use it again. I normally use craft procielan (sp) i never have a problem with it. I just have to paint and hair.

Aww, tennouusagi, I feel your pain on that one. I'll grrrr with you.

Whoa, AC! Glad that this one could be a learning experience for you. That is always a good swap to me learning something new while doing it.

Jenni823, did you use scupley that you have to bake or apoxie scuplt that air dries and it's the 2 part clay that you mix? From what we've learned on it, it you let it set in the container of course for a month or 2, it becomes easier to work with as it ages, or at least to me. Fresh apoxie is very sticky. But if you let it age too long like 6 months, it's tough to work with.
 
I have to return the Sculpey that I bought because it dried out in the package (before I bought it) I won't be buying boxed clay again... I will stick to the stuff in wrappers

:( ~cries~ mine broke!!!! I hate sculpty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! o_O sorry Dpp. It was easy, her shoes gave her away lol.

I don't know what to do now. I didn't want to go to town. :( i don't want to break her fuku off. :( i have to though. her scarf thing broke while i was painting, and in pulling it off, i broke her body suit. I don't like the fact i have to bake it. GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
They're unfinished in that pic ^^And actually, it isn't neptunE! I painted her basecoat to confuse peoplez!

Which is why I don't sculpey!! Stick with apoixie sculpt
 
i'm goign to go get craft porcelian. i used it for my sailor pluto one. :) i like it. i may run to micheals later.
