Hello!

My name's Septima Windsong and I collect ponies from all generations for more than 10 years. I registered here in 2011, but I wasn't an active user. Eventually I stopped posting and visiting the forum but not collecting ponies, and now I want to join the collectors community again :)

In this thread I'll tell about my latest findings, my collection and other pony-related things. Right now I have about 280 ponies and they all are boxed after moving since I currently don't have a proper display for them. Here's how my collection was displayed back in 2018 before moving:

Now there's a lot more of them and I'll definitely need a bigger display :lolpony: And here's how it started in around 2010:

I collect ponies from all generations, however G3s and G3 Ponyville are probably my favorites. I'm not a huge fan of G2, but I have a few of them, they're cute in their own way. Even though I consider my collection as complete as I got almost all the ponies I wanted, I still keep my eye on G1s which are uncommon in my country. I'll be showing my findings later in the next posts :satisfied:

Have a nice day!

And here are the ponies I got a couple of days ago - Butterscotch and Glory:

Both are cleaned and are in good condition, however, their tails are a bit dry. Glory's cutie mark has partly rubbed off, so I'll buy silver glitter and repaint the stars. I had to open her (actually, this was the first time I was doing this ) because she smelled a bit moldy and one of her hooves looked darker from inside. Luckily she was almost clean and it turned out that there were a tail washer in her hoof, so I put it back. I think that Butterscotch may have a rusty tail washer, so I will be checking her, too. I plan to give a proper cleaning to all my ponies when I'll be preparing them for display, especially G1s.

I love seeing progress shots of people's collections! Your collection looks fantastic, even in that older photo.

It's also nice to see more G3 enthusiasts! I see a few G3.5s as well - do you like them as much?

Thank you!

Yes, I really like G3.5s, especially their Ponyville versions. All of them have unique molds and hairstyles, and I really love it about them. Here are some of my G3.5s:

Hello Septima Windsong! These photos are so lovely!! I love seeing collection photos :happyhearts: Do you have a camera, or do you just use your phone and proper lighting? Thanks for sharing!

Hello! Thanks :happyhearts:

When I have time, I prefer to take photos with a camera. Lately I take pictures with my phone (like those with Butterscotch and Glory), but camera photos are always better. And the lighting is also important, so I try to take photos on sunny days near the window.

I got some new G5s!

There are not so many G5 figures I'm interested in, but today I got a pony mail with ones I really wanted: 6-inch Izzy, Pipp, Zipp, Hitch and Deputy Sprout! They're all from the Shining Adventures Collection set. I got rainbow-haired Sunny a bit earlier so she's not from this set, but I like this version of her even more.

All are in awesome condition. They still have factory curls, so I'm thinking whether I should wash their hair or just brush it for now. Zipp's mane is styled with some kind of hair styling gel, so I'm thinking if it's a good idea to wash it away.

And here are some photos of the rest of my G5s:

Meet the Mane 5 set. I absolutely love them, they're small but very detailed.

Mini World Magic keychains. I really like this series, so I want to add more sets to my collection.

i just found the little sets last night at Ollies!

and i found my missing giant pipp there too!

You have a lovely collection! I love the Ponyvilles photo, they all look so cute.

And thank you for sharing photos of the Meet the Mane 5 set, I've been looking to get my hands on them and it helps to see fellow pony folks' photos out of box :lolpony: I'm still debating on washing the hair of my factory-curl G5s too.

Thank you!

This set is my favorite one, I like their 3D cutie marks and glitter manes and tails very much. Also, they're poseable and compatible with Musical Mane Melody set.

Do you have this set, too? Unfortunately mine have polypropylene tails :( They're already a bit dry and frizzy, however, they look like they've never been brushed. Polypropylene hair is also hard to style and it can disintegrate with time, which I'm worried about. At least their manes are soft and silky.

It's already snowing here, so I thought it's a good time to post my small Minty collection :satisfied:

This little Ponyville Minty in the middle was my first My Little Pony ever, so this pony is very special to me :) And even though I'm not a fan of "pony armies", I would like to get other Minty releases in other poses someday :satisfied:

She's my newest minty! I love her so much!
I really love all of the Little Ponyville ponies and playsets!
I'm hoping to start a Ponyville playset collection!
My favorite sets are the sweets themed ones!
And I hope to gather as many 3.5 mintys as I can to live in my tiny Candyland!
