Show off the G5s you have so far!

It's my birthday today and my brother got me the unicorn celebration set! :D

I wanted to wait until I took individual pics for my site but I don't think I'll get around to that anytime soon. So here are my g5s on my shelves:

While this isn’t all my G5 stuff (I’m waiting on a couple more deliveries). This is something I am most excited about, despite not being brushables.
On Saturday Amazon Canada (finally) released the Royal Gala Collection and as soon as I saw it I bought it so fast. Being a Unicorn/Pegasus G1 collector I was thrilled to see Hasbro release a set with side character Pegasi. The set is so cute and the packaging is to die for adorable but also sustainable!!

So, as you can see there’s zero plastics used in the packaging. They’re in a recycled paper (much like an egg) carton all snugly packaged in their “cubby holes.” The accessories are wrapped nicely in 1 small piece is pink tissue paper. And the poster it comes with is also printed on recycled paper!!

Now, the only setback with my box is because of the way it’s packaged my Sunny and Izzy both have blemishes from the printed box. As well all the pony’s muzzles have dented box. Sunny’s muzzle has done the most damage and Izzy’s the second most. Now, my box was packaged with in an Amazon box BUT if your Amazon workers decided to pack in a bubble envelope (which they frequently do with toys) I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more damage through shipping

The ponies themselves are easily removed from the carton and easy to place back in. I love that their hooves/horseshoes are heart shaped. Not sure why but I think it’s an adorable touch (they’re the same in the movie).

I think having this set now will actually push me to but the Pipp “castle” playset so I can enjoy these out of box. They’re just too cute not to.
 
I really don't know much about G5 but the last box is very pretty and I like the ponies in it. They look a bit more like the G2 (my personal favourites). Congrats on getting them ^^

That's great! Way to go Hasbro for not paying lip service. And the set looks cute and nicely done. I like that it is also its own storage box.
 
Toys-R-Us finally got the six pack in that has Hitch and Sprout in it and I nearly died when I saw it on the shelves. Like more than one box at that. Lol I grabbed a box and then shuffled through for best box and pony hair. Lol I am slight sad that Zipp and Pipps wings don’t move. But mostly I’m still upset that Hitch and Sprout have moulded manes, like why couldn’t they “gel” the hair like they did Zipp? Missed opportunity there, also weird there’s no brushes/combs.

Then I went to Walmart and they finally had Izzy!! Again I got stupid excited (bf totally made fun of me). Normally I would now open my Izzy because I have the huge set but my heart says leave her in her box and wait for the thrift stores to get millions of her.

thanks a million for the lovely photos! Great pics and coolio to see some of the little details shared here. Yeah I agree I don't get the boys have molded hair when gel would have worked IMO and to me, all MLP should have hair

I plan to buy one of these too. I have a feeling these will end up being rare years from now because it seems to be a pattern that side characters aren't released as often
I love the molded hair !
