Yes, she's rather elusive. I initially intended to buy a minty looking one. The seller claimed to have removed her from the box themselves and just put her on display, so she was never played with and came with all her accessories. But the auction ended up at an astronomical price. I'm still happy with that one, now her hair is neat and tidy again she's gorgeous.

You could be right about the length. I also thought it might just be the tight curls, but I checked that other auction again (the never-played-with Lemon Treats) and one of the curls is definitely longer, it falls to the floor, while another one is just half its length. It's quite tricky to tell the actual length of curled hair from a photo though. When my LT arrived here with her tangled hair her tail length looked pretty normal to me. I was just shocked that so many hairs were loose, I've never seen that before. Only the HQG1Cs seem to be prone to some hair loss in my experience. It can't have broken off because of dryness I presume?

I’ve never encountered one that broke off... pulled out or cut, yes. Here’s the photo from mylittlewiki... her curls are way looser. I still think yours looks great. Very minty.

Yes, they are definitely more loose on the MLW pic. Here it looks even shorter than my girl's hair, but I reckon it's re-curled, they don't look like factory curls to me: https://www.ponylandpress.com/us/candycane.shtml.

The loose hair was really odd. Perhaps someone once tried to brush her, tugged hard, thus loosening a few hairs and then gave up, leaving the loose hair tangled in her curls. Well, the main thing is that she didn't lose any more hair afterwards, when I shampooed and conditioned it, or she would be bald now, poor girl. :D

Wow, that ponyland press picture, her hair looks short! I’m glad you were able to find and give some love to yours. She’s a beauty.

Yes, either her curls are just tighter than the factory made ones, or her hair is cut.

Thank you! :blush: Apart from the messy hair, mine was a bit grubby and partially covered in glitter, but thankfully it washed off really well, she's a lovely girl now. <3

Don't feel bad I had to look her up too! Baby Nightcap. I think maybe from a set. I will have to look again :winkpony: I love her colors and I saw her on a FB claim sale and snatched her up for $8!
 
She's one of my favorite babies, too.
 
Ah, ok, thanks. I've heard her name before, but somehow I didn't recognise her, her symbol didn't look familiar. But she's very pretty, I like her colours as well. :D
 
Oh, I completely forgot pearlised Kitty Love. Now this pony was never planned, as I'm not a pony army person and I already had the non-pearlised version. So why did I buy her? Well, it's all @Tak's fault really. :tongue: I posted a photo of my (almost) complete cat pony symbol collection, when Tak, keen-eyed as she is, instantly noticed that there was a Kitty Love missing. I've contemplated getting her ever since, and finally decided that she should join my collection after all. At least her mane colours are reversed, so she isn't identical to her non-pearlised sister. :)

Well my first attempt at a de-flocking. She was in horrible shape. I think she came out great so I reunited her with her baby.

German Butter Kiss' tail isn't cut, I re-curled it as she came with a braided tail so it looks much shorter than it is in reality at the moment.
