Hello all!

I spend a lot of time thinking about my bookcases and how to display my ponies. This is the current state of some shelves on my main bookshelf (don't mind the non-pony items that have snuck their way in, LOL):

Its not perfect, and there are many gaps with room to grow! I use Celsius boxes a lot in my display, because I love how sturdy they are and end up with a new one about every 12 days.. LOL!

I am proud of how certain areas look, but I have another bookcase I am working on right now, and an awkward/'blank' spot in this bookcase that I highlighted. It's like the world's hardest puzzle, trying to display a collection!!!

As such, if you wouldn't mind sharing, I'd love to see how my fellow pony collectors display their collection! As a source of inspiration, and because it's something I spend a *lot* of time thinking about, and I thought that maybe others do, too. Feel free to share any thought processes behind your display if you'd like!

I would absolutely love a place to display just my ponies in their own place but alas, I still share a bedroom and I do not have much space

I love your shelves! Are those lights around the edges? I’d love to see them in action if they are! I love lighting it’s such pretty thing and I bet it makes all your ponies, figures and plushies look amazing :Flutter:

I shared a bedroom for a large portion of my life, so I understand that! Thank you so much!! Yes, they are fairy lights, and two different brands, so they shine differently. It's still bright out, and they aren't very strong, so I will have to take a picture after the sun sets this evening, but here is this for now! I would possibly be interested in getting something like LED lights in the future, but I would want to make sure the bright light wouldn't hurt any of the ponies first. Plus, while gentle, I do find the fairy lights to be very cute!! Thank you for your kind words!!

I’m excited to see everyone else’s shelves too, there’s something so satisfying about pretty collection displays ^-^

Thank you so much!! I was thankful Micheal's had cloud paper and it wasn't something I had to make/print myself, LOL!

Here are the lights in a fully dark room, @StormMaeker. The bottom set is more clearly seen as being brighter than the top set. It's a bit hard to photograph but it's enough light for me to see the ponies when I am in my room at night! The G5 ponies seem to benefit the most from the lighting situation- I love how they look!! :redheart:

That is such a beautiful display! Those little plants around Misty is so cute too! Seriously though, the creativity that’s gone into making the little G5 section, I love it so much :ponylove:

I have some LED lights and honestly, changing the colour is so fun because you get to see how the different colour lights can change how a different pony looks. It’s so cool. My LED’s have broke right now but they go behind one of my figure shelves above my bed my Sakura Miku has the best part of it. I just wish the lights hadn’t broke :hmph:

Your Rarity army is one of the most amazing armies I’ve ever seen. It’s one of the most magnificent armies I’ve ever seen. The pictures remains in my memory right beside @Draco ‘s Bowtie families, @cannibalcow ‘s Cherries Jubilee army and others like that. Truly amazing stuff

I hope the Rarity shelves give you as much joy as they do us to see them! :Flutter4:
 
@ponyville your shelves are so cute! I especially like the plushies up top and the backdrop for you G5s.

@The Cleo Collector love your Rarity collection. I think that collections of just one character are so fun. I wish I could pick just one to focus on like that.

Here’s my current state of things.
I’ve got about 13 more to buy before I’m done. This is the middle of a collection rebuild.

Thank you!! In the future I would like to make Misty's area more like the Bridlewoodstock stage and add Zipp and Pipp to the area. I tried to give it a small Bridlewood feel. I didn't even think about color changing LEDs!!! That would be so fun!!! I'm sure Miku looks amazing with the fun lights :snuzzle: :redheart:

@Sassarazzmadazzles Your pony room is amazing!!! I especially love how you were able to display 'loose' ponies with NIB ponies. I find that is something I struggle to balance, but it looks great in your display!! Thank you for sharing!!

@The Cleo Collector I am in awe over your Rarity collection!!! Wow!!! It looks so amazing!! Is it a lot to maintain, or does it stay as it is now that Rarity merch is harder to find? Thank you!!

I'm obsessed with the G4 Build-A-Bears, they bring me so much joy :happyhearts: Your collection looks amazing, I love that the clear acrylic means the main attraction is the ponies! Its so nice that they have enough space to be turned to show their cutie marks, too. You mentioned you have 13 more to collect. Are you aiming to get just one of every character, or are there just 13 more G4s that you are interested in?

Wow, @Draco!! Looks great!! The dynamic shelving unit is perfect, honestly. The ponies look so orderly and are able to be among a certain subsection of your collection, without looking too monotonous. The Bowties look wonderful. I especially love the smaller cubes with the Pretty Ponies, so cute! Thank you for sharing!!

@twinkleeyedshark I love all those cute hairstyles!! Love Melody especially looks way too cute!!! Do I spot the G1 'equivalents' to G4 together in the second picture as well? And styled like the show?! Wayyy too cute!!! I am obsessed!!!

Looking at all these ponies all cared for and arranged so nicely has really warmed my heart. And given me some ideas!!! Thank you all so much!!

Ah! You have Cascade! Beautiful! All the ponies are

I’ve been using mini Pringles cans for a few of my plushies on my shelf as risers… :unsure: luckily you can’t see them behind all my others in front of them
