I thought it was a great idea, because it really tracked the average value of a pony....well, according to eBay....and I haven't been able to find her site. Is it still actively running?
I was thinking, i wish there was a site that could precisely determine the rarity of a pony based on price paid and quantity owned, according to the members of the MLP community (not just eBay)
Just to know. Like a registry of some sort, like everyone who owns a specific pony, find that pony on the site by alphabetical name order, and enter how much you paid. And the page tallies up the value....giving a roundabout of the average price paid for that specific pony. Considering that the person is telling the truth Also, the quantity of people who entered that they own this pony, as to tally up the amount of them around that could also show the rarity of a pony. (obviously, the less people who claim to own a specific pony, the rarer it might be) And last, if they do not own it, a separate column stating what they *would* pay for a specific pony tallied up.
It could be bad, I know it raises issues, because people will lie, and could really mark up the stated value of a pony....but i'd still wanna know, it interests me. Just the general knowledge. It could be an awful idea, however, I am still very curious how it would turn out.
