Hi ponyland friends new and old!! I’m back around again and Hopefully for good, this time! I last posted an intro in June of 2021, following my loooong ago intro in something like 2003– early 2000s, anyway. I have a non-contagious illness called Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy, due to which I was paralyzed— for just months thankfully, but it left me with some ongoing symptoms and flare ups. I’ve been healthy for a while now and want to be part of the community and make friends and Remake
friendships with those I already know. I’m struggling with a we’ll-see-when move to a smaller apartment, and figuring out ways to make room to display all my toys, MLP to other toy lines to stuffed animals given to me and gathered over my whole lifetime. I still have the teddy bear my Aunt made for me when I was born! So we’re talking waaaaay back, since I was born in 1980 lol. I’d love to meet people and welcome both posits and conversations, and hopefully I’ll do transactions in various forms! I’m super-attached to Everything I still have and I’ve been replacing toys I had to sell when I was ill and needed to pay bills. So here I am! I’m SO happy to be back!!
 
Welcome back! Glad to hear that your doing better :smile: and that bear definitely sounds like the kind of gift you keep forever, so sweet that she made it for you

Yes, all of my women relatives made things for me when I was a baby and child!! I treasure them and know I will have them forever! Thanks for replying to my post, AzaleaArt! ~Jacki/ SunSnail

Aww that’s cute! My Nana crochet me one of those blankets with an animal head

when I was young but I have no idea what happened to him as I haven’t seen him since I was maybe 6. Still hand made gifts are always the best and most memorable!

One of my Grandma’s actually knitted me a kangaroo with a baby kangaroo in her pouch! It’s so cute! When I’m getting ready to move and packing things, I’ll show you the things that my family members made for me!

Aww, thank you for caring!! Yes, illness and periods of depression, as well, mostly in relation to the illness. However, I have developed some coping mechanisms to be in a better state of mind even when I’m ill. Also, my brother is doing well after Years of not doing well. He has a new job and now he’s been promoted to supervisor, and he was able to buy a house and now has a long-term girlfriend who our Mom and I just love! So things finally going well for him has Really improved my state of mind :)

Welcome back! It is hard to collect and not have a huge house. I'm fortunate to be able to have a pony room but I have other things I also like that I just struggle to find the space for but like you said, I'm attached to everything! I branch off into other collections and have decided I just need a second house I can have rooms dedicated to all the 80's girly toys LOL

Haha you need a hotel or apartment building and each room can be for a different toy collection :lolpony: maybe give tours so we can all admire them too

I will certainly share pictures with you when I get them out! Yeah, seriously! I would love to have a room for each toy collection. I’d love to give tours :) I’ll give one by photo once I move and everything is set up just as I picture it. My Mom and I have joked over the years that my (sadly passed) cat, Ping, had mansions and vacation spots and private islands for all his collections and friends! It is a fun way to keep his memory alive, now <3
