With all of the other exciting things going on at the same time I almost forgot to keep track of the progress!! Looks like we're still only halfway!!
 
sorry a bit late to this year's fundraiser - finally added to the pot hoping it moves the marker a bit will see if can add in more

thankful for this pony-place :)

One of many challenges we faced this year was the timing of the fundraiser, which is usually held in June. There were numerous hoops to jump through and hefty fees paid to establish the LLC (which is a financial necessity for the MLPTP), and you can imagine I spent this entire summer biting my nails waiting for everything to fall into place (and gathering prizes, cleaning prizes, photographing prizes, drafting fundraiser posts, emails, graphics........). Ideally, we would not be holding other events at the same time as the fundraiser, nor would we be so close to major conventions or holidays. But, 2022 is what it is, and here we are :)

Additional costs have come in form of the MLPTP's growth requiring a new, more expensive hosting plan in order to provide the fastest, safest, and best-performing service for our members, as well as the assistance of a web developer for the back end, and new software add-ons to improve the functionality and versatility of the existing forum software. Much of this happens behind the scenes and cannot be seen by members, but everything you see and do here is affected by what we do in the background.


I can't thank everyone enough for their generous support and contributions, especially during such a crucial time of growth for the MLPTP! <3

Lol it's kinda like life that you work hard to prepare for something and 10 other things happen at the same time :rolleyes:
Hopefully the goal will be hit despite the distractions. Seems like we have some great support working both inside behind the scenes and outside looking in. We can make it!!
