Sorry, my room has crappy yellow lighting, so she looks a little off in the photos. But she’s so gorgeous in real life
I know this is from a while ago, but it is the first time I'm seeing this. I am floored. So creative, so much skill and exploration has gone into this. The outcome is simply magical. Some are just silver, but yeah there are pink or gold tinted ones. I am thinking of trying some diluted glass paint or something.
I think casting for the barette is possible. Thinner parts of the resin can bend. Not sure how it would hold up over time, though.

Thank you for sharing!
I have two questions:
1) Did you ever end up experimenting with the glass paint overtop the chrome paint? How did it turn out, if so?
2) Did you cast that princess damsel hat next to the Princess Peachy? How did you create the mold? That seems really difficult!
For the chrome, I'm waiting for payday to order silver chrome paint pen and then see if a nail art silver chrome powder on top would do the trick, for a similar Princess project I have coming up. Maybe it could work for you too?
I haven't tried the glass paint yet, I fell out of ponies for awhile after because I wasn't well. I have a couple of baits waiting for royalizing, though! I will need to see if their colour scheme allows it!
I did cast the hat, yes, it was a massive pain in the rear XD It was fiddly because it needed an internal part to make it hollow, and I made the mould out of silicone.
I don't see why both would be necessary. I think the trick is to just make the surface as smooth as possible, you get a better reflection that way.
