The straight up weirdest thing you’ve seen while pony hunting?

For me it's how people can't tell a fake from real. I mean I look at listings and I'm like really? It's so obvious
I was watching a video detailing all the generations of bobblehead Littlest Pet Shop (not including the 90s ones) and every generation looked the same to me. Exactly the same. That was the moment when I understood the confusion of non MLP collectors when they look at an assortment of plastic ponies, lol.

This weird bag with a mishmash of random clip art on it... and a fan-art of Princess Celestia haha

The weirdest thing I saw wasn't pony-related, it was a piece of furniture . . . a small end table with homemade decals that were just really really strange. I hope I can find a picture of it because I can't remember the words that were on it offhand. I should have bought it, it was only $10.

In 2015 I was at a convention and in the vendor’s hall someone was selling both custom ponies and official ponies. All G4, some in the box some not.

Heard her talking to a person “There was this little girl looking at this set, I didn’t want her to get it because I knew she would open it up and play with it.”
dear lord! ponies should be loved no matter who, it sucks theres people like that in vendors spaces!

Found a piece of tape around the metal tail clasp of a g1 Medley. The tail was super thin, so I guess they were trying to keep it from falling out, but they totally forgot the washer and the tail pulled out when I handled her.
i know how it is, washers can fall out very easily!

A My Little Pony thong.
It was at one of those shops that had iron on things and you could pick a piece of clothing and a patch and they pressed it on for you.
Went in with friends cause they wanted a shirt, there on the wall in all its glory was a pale pink cotton thong with a my little pony pressed onto it.

Yes, I did buy it.
No, I am not sure where I put it during all my moves.

So it’s not a thong, I think it’s what it would be called boycut? But Topshop had licensed My Little Pony underwear and there is one that has G3 Minty’s prototype picture on the front, and “daddy I want a pony” on the butt.

Talk about cheeky.

Somebody’s unfinished pony OC that was not to be

I feel the concept was there, I guess they just lacked the materials.

That’s totally Pinkie Pie underneath there!
I would have got for the fun of restoration, but for a bag of three other small fakies that don’t even fill the bag halfway for £6, na. Not for me thanks. And I don’t think I was even supposed to unzip the bag…

Good hair and tail though

The weirdest that I found was actually just a seller in general. I was at this flea market a long time ago and there was this woman selling a few ponies. When I inquired about the price the woman just went on this rant about how she didn't know she was selling them and how she liked to use them as dog toys.

So it was just kind of implied that she didn't want to sell them to me and would rather give them to her dog to be chewed up. I really didn't know if I was to be insulted or if she was just a little odd.
