Man, taking physical media drives out of computers and laptops have been the worst thing. Our DVD player is on the fritz but I know I can pop mine into my laptop at any time.

Yeah our combo had its DVD part break some years ago but we kept it for the VCR, and then we finally found another combo. We just haven’t hooked it up yet XDCracks knuckles and looks over at her VCR and DVD player

I don't get why people don't have DVD players anymore we still have one and we still use it.
We also have a separate DVD and VCR, I even managed to save the VCR after the TV got struck by lightning.

We don’t have a separate DVD player, but we do have our ps3 hooked up mostly because we use it as a DVD player

We have a massive metal tower for the internet and a metal roof, and we think the tower was stuck by lightning and it killed the internet stuff and somehow the TV at the same time, luckily it didn't break anything irreplaceable like a computer or external hard drive.

Somehow I hadn't ever gone through this thread, omg. There were so many things I was trying to mentally make note of, but I had to leave the room and calm myself down after seeing SWEAT STULT. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard in my life. XD
