The Vinny and Chloe' Chronicles Cats in Mischief Update TodAy

She is so adorable in her little bed.

Husband got me a shelf thing with a little glass door from the antique store to put my kitties and things in. Its hanging up high on the wall. Its so cute. I hope the cats never see it lol.

The Kits bring my bugs but my eldest cat Whiskey likes bring me dead things too but he'll pluck them & cover a room in feathers

Mmmmm... tasty love offerings!

Yeah, why fall for scattered rose petals & mere tokens of human affection when I can scattered feathers, gardening gloves, face clothes, seed pods and all the other stolen treasures of the kitten realm :D

@RedTabbyKitty your cats are so precious. We use to have a cat that would bring us dead rats all of the time. It was such a delight. My Vinny and Chloe are indoor only cats. Vinny has an illness that I can keep him well inside, but the vet said if he goes outside at all he will be sick again. So, we leave them inside. Plus, cats in our neighborhood are dying outside at the hands of loose dogs we never see. Its kind of scary. My neighbor has lost three cats in 5 years.

Here is a picture of what my husband found at the antique store. It has a little glass door that closes, but I have it open. I have my little kitty and dog figures that are left in there, plus the ones I have received from wonderful friends here at the TP. Its up high on the wall. It looks like something someone must have made themselves. Its just a little odd the way its constructed. Its not an antique probably something from the 70s. LOL At least the tiny figures are safer now. They were sitting on an open shelf that the cats could reach. There is nothing around this so, I don't think they will ever reach it. Please I hope not.

My one permanent inside cat Magical Mouth Melvin literally jumps straight up the walls at invisible intruders, but I doubt even my Spring Heel jack of a cat could leap high enough to get your cute little cabinet. It's safe until your cats learn to levitate!

Thank you Tulagirl :) That's a cute wee cabinet, It should do the job of keeping Chloe away from your figures.
I don't know how my kit boys would handle being inside cats, they are use to having free run of the house & yard. They are lucky enough to have two dog guardians who dote on them. Plus my old cat Guinness was a world class brawler & master hunter of the small & furry. His reign of terror has all the local nastys too afraid come into my yard over a year after he past away

My kittens have always been inside, so they don't know anything else I guess. @evilbunnyfoofoo I have no doubt my cats will learn to levitate. Its something they practice when I am asleep.

Mine levitated tonight! She got on top of the owl's carrier and stuck her tail accidentally into one of the holes in the side. Before I could shoo her off, he bit her! She must've sailed straight up into the air. I'm lucky she didn't shoot through the ceiling.

I laughed at her expense too. I'se mean. :lolpony:

I had one cat show up the other day with a can on her head! We don't put garbage where our animals can get it, so I have no idea where she found it (or how she got home with it stuck on her noggin), but I ran and rescued her. Afterwards though, I laughed heartily at her expense. She didn't seem too upset.

My sissy said I should've let her suffered and videoed it for youtube.

Oo lucky she found her way home, I came across one that had done the same thing out trail riding once & not been so lucky :( Glad she is ok. The owl biting her tail would of been hilarious though.
Little Leo has two wee fantails flitting around the yard tormenting him, he doesn't have a hope of catching them but I have to give him full credit for his effort :)

My cats have to be very wary of owls and hawks out here. Some are big enough to take a kitty down. My cats try to stalk the squirrels living in our front yard, but the squirrels have a huge family and have sentries everywhere, fussing loudly to warn each other about the small tigers in the grass. When the little rodents have had it up to their necks, they'll gang up and bung pecans and sticks at the cats till they flee in disgrace!

We have hawks here that can take cats here too, mainly in the rural areas but since we have a rabbit problem kitty isn't high on the menu. No squirrels here though. But I wish there were, they are SO cute. I think they would be safe from my current cats, Fox prefers to fish in the goldfish pond while Leo fancies he could catch a fantail. Whiskey did bring the kittens a few wee mice but the gingers never really took to mousing. I do get a lot of large bugs lol
