So I'm browsing a local store looking for ponies/pony books...didn't find anything cheap (a salon thingie for $34!!) Defeated, I rounded the corner.
SUNNY SCENT PONIES!!!!!!! I stared in amazement...then snatched up two and ran to my mom. LOL (Here's a moment when Im glad I dont look my age)
She rolls her eyes in an playful "oh no, not again!" expreession and asks how much "$4.99 or so" I blurt out....then flip them over. They were marked $6.99 EACH. Nothing different about them at all. And this isnt a Hasbro price, its THEIR price. We didn't have time to wait in line today to get them, so I'm going back in the morning.
Before I 'pitch a fit' and ask to speak to the manager (our managers at CVS always give the customer the price they want. Photos are free, and merchandise is what they the customer think it should be if they ask for the manager  ) is that fair to mark up the price? You KNOW they're already making a profit off them. Can they do that? Its not some tiny hole in the wall store, its a big name store LIKE Target or Krogers or something.
ARG!!
