It looks like I'm going to be sending a lot of pony mail going forward, so I figure it's a good idea to ask the experts: what mistakes should I avoid when packing and sending ponies? Any advice is appreciated!!

they actually got rid of 1st class USPS combined 1st class and partial select to ground advantage it is cheaper and comes with up to $100 insuranceI bought my own scale and ship through PayPal cause it’s a little cheaper
No newspaper or printed paper touching the ponies
Anything under 1lb is 1st class, anything over is priority
Wrap ponies in bubble wrap aswell in the bubble mailer, or just make sure it has something around it so it’s not just in the bubble mailer - seems people don’t like that
This are just the things I’ve gathered
ah really? i havnt shipped in a whilethey actually got rid of 1st class USPS combined 1st class and partial select to ground advantage it is cheaper and comes with up to $100 insurance
omg, ive gotten packages that are miraculously held together with one piece of tap, thankfully i didnt lose anything insideAnd for the exterior of the package/parcel itself, make sure all flaps/closures are fully sealed and securely taped so nothing can fall out. Also PRINT the addresses very clearly on the front of the package.
If you gave them a trip to the spa, make sure they're completely dried before packing up.
