(Sorry if this has already been posted, I only skimmed the first page lol Feel free to delete if that's the case :p )

I was digging around and found pics of the 2011 Comic Con Pony this morning. I think she's pretty freaking awesome! (If anyone is going and can pick me up one, hit me up!!!) Here she is!

I like her! She sorta has a tribal-modern feel to her, which is no bad thing :)

The problem is the tail looks a little thin, but seeing as I think this is the prototype it'll probably be fixed before release :)
 
:O Egyptian pony? DO want! wow, thanks for sharing. I'm going to have to see if a friend of mine in Arizona who is likely going can grab one for me

Also- Hello, BittieBaby! always awesome to come across more Nova Scotian's :D are you into G4? I've been watching for wave 3, but no sign in our Province yet :p

She does look more SDCC, and the one at the top looks more fair-like. But that's just my guess.

The one I posted was listed on HK Ebay as Comic Con 2011, the other one might be the Fair Pony. I have no idea. Usually all this info is posted months in advance, and this year info has definitely been lacking lol

Heya Breezy :) No, I'm a G1 collector, with a few G3 exclusives mixed in. The new ponies don't really do it for me. Always nice to see a fellow Haligonian on the board though :)
 
I love the Egyptian pony, she would look gorgeous next to Monster High Cleo de Nile! I wonder what the price point is going to be?
 
There was a thread started back when we weren't sure who she was, and it was just MIB pictures. But WOW, she looks amazing out of box. Like, so amazing that I don't even want to merge the threads, I'm just going to leave this puppy by herself. So it's semi-confirmed that she'll be a Comicon-exclusive then? Did you know where the listing on Ebay was from? Was it Singapore or somewhere else? That might help us figure out if she's really the Comicon-pony or if the seller was just speculating.

I hope this is the Comic Con one! I was hoping for G4, but I actually really like this pony. The hair color scheme is gorgeous, and I'm a sucker for tinsel - and this is golden tinsel! :D

Don't really like the other exclusive that's been leaked, and as I'm going to be at Comic Con and not the Pony Fair this year, I've got my fingers crossed that SDCC gets the Egyptian pony.

She's really pretty. I'm hoping Hasbro lists her on their site after the con like in previous years. That's how I'm planning on getting mine. :) What weekend is the con again? Lol

I like the egyptian one right now, but I really want the lime colored one from last year - maybe - Big Hopes - soon!

I think comicon's in july, but don't quote me, I only realize it's going on when it hit's the new's (sad since I live in s.d.)
 
I don't really like either exclusive much this year. I don't really like the colors of the Egyptian pony and I hate tinsel. I like ponies to be pastel colors. And from what I can see of the purple & black one, I don't like the design much either. I may end up picking up the SDCC pony from Hasbro's site if it's still $15 like last year, but there's no way I'm paying $35 for a pony without knowing for sure which one it is, so no fair pony for me. I guess it's all for the best though, because the money I'm saving by not getting the fair pony can be used to get some of the many G4 releases that are coming soon.

It says Hong Kong on the listing, and it's listed on HK Ebay. I'm assuming it's another factory worker selling off "seconds" as they have done in previous years.
