So, if you had only $5 to spend on a pony- which pony would you buy?


After you answer that, let's add the other "0"s. Now if you had $500, what pony (or ponies) would you buy?

$5- another Swirly Whirly
$500- hopefully at least 2 yellow greek ponies or a few yellow argies I need!
 
for $5 i'd like to get a baby brother

for $500....now i have to spend it on ponys right? i can't spend it on like oh...food :lol: wel if i had $500 pony bucks i'd look into replacing all the rest of my chgildhood ponys including the MO mom/baby set OR get a handful of mountain boys OR i'd hunt down a pink bodied, pink haired Argie Glory-the ultimate pony for me ^^

Cool thread, pika! I'm going in backwards order though.. heh heh.

$500 I'd buy a plane ticket to the next Pony Fair (but I may wait on the one that's going to be in Rhode Island)

$5- I'd take this to the pony fair with me and would split it equally on ponies from the bargain bins or G1 accessories I need (you can usually get good prices on combs and brushes there.)

Was that cheating? I hope not!

Ok, after further inspection, I realize I didn't actually name any ponies, so if it really had to be a pony, here's who:

I'd lay a fiver down on Backstroke, then I'd turn around and spend half a grand on Nightlight, Mimic, Red Roses, Diamond Dreams (yellow ponies after your own heart, Pika), then if I could afford it, Argie Twilight.

$5, hmmmm, not sure probably a baby sea pony I don't have and for $500 I would hunt down a Rapunzel hopefully :)

$500- NSS Truly? Hehe... no, since I would have one from the deflocked $5 Truly... I guess oh... so many... maybe a Greek baby, or CP Sparkler... or Aqua Limon!!! oh can I get $5000 instead? :D
 
$5 - probably one of the Perfume Puffs I still need
$500 - Peru Bowtie, Mexican Prince Sapphire, and Mexican Firefly - I'm sure I could find all three for that much, lol!

For $5 I'd get HeartThrob
For $500, I'd buy several lots of ponies, cuz I need a ton of G1s .... and I'd do tons of customs with the baits, and get a Paradise Estate, all the Boy Ponies, and all the Twinkele Eyed ponies except for Masquerade and Mimic, I already have those two. If I had any money left over I'd finish out my So Soft Group with buying those few that I'm missing.
 
For 5 - I dunno. Probably Baby Blossom.
500: Several ponies on my wish list!
 
For $5.00 I'd buy Pretty Pop!

for $500.00, I'd buy Trolley and Frisco immediately. With the rest of the money I'd get a bunch of boys: German Tex, Ice Crystal, a Chief with a white body, Sunburst, and a couple boy baits... And with whatever was left... I guess I'd work on the rest of my wishlist lol
 
For 5 dollars: another Bluebelle (maybe 2 if I can find two manky ones)

For 500 dollars: Greek baby Bluebelle, Mimic, Applebelle, and maybe finish up some sets like UK families, or MBs or a bunch of less expensive sets (like Glow n Shows and Candy Canes)
 
For $5.00, I'd buy Bunches-O-Fun (G3). I don't have her and I think she's cute. I hate the "new" new G3 ponies.

For $500.00... Well, to be honest, I wouldn't spend that much on a toy. I'd use it to buy something really nice for myself or I'd put the money in the bank until I found something I needed or wanted. Yeah, I'm a boring party pooper. :lol:
 
LOL Claire- you know I'd always advocate for buying yellow ponies!
 
I'm with Tap Dancer on this one... don't think I could ever bring myself to spend $500 on ONE pony. I think my limit is like $200. lol

But.. to play the game

$5 I would buy one of the common ponies I still need. Like G1 Sea Shell

$500 I would complete my Sea Side babies, my sweetie babies, and my TAF babies.

I've always had a soft spot for baby ponies. I guess because they are so small and cute. :)
