Bad News :(

Honestly, of all my possessions, I's hope that my Bun-Bun(stuffed blue bunny I've had since birth) would make it out ok. But if I'm picking ponies.. then probably my.. Hmm.. well, I don't know.I don't have anyone hugely rare.. Maybe my childhood Sunbeam? or my WW High Flier.. maybe Tux.

My son has a stuffed rabbit that he named Bun-Bun. I almost fell out of my seat when I read that. OK. Ponies that I most hope are my childhood ponies because my deep feelings for them and how they take me back to my youth would not be immitated by any other set. If I were able to get a few armfuls it would be my boys, MO's and the few nirvanas I have.

My Mintys, Glorys and vintage Sindy caravan :)

Ugh, this is my worst fear ever. I would most hope to find th original ponies from my childhood, especially Cotton Candy who was my first. She is the pony who is totally unreplacable to me. I'd be gutted to lose my set of Alt Birthflowers though because even though I could buy new ones, I wouldn't be able to afford to!

My childhood ponies would take complete precedence over any ponies I've bought in adulthood. Although ones I acquired later in life are more valuable (especially considering the condition of my kid ponies) they are certainly more replaceable than my childhood ponies.

If I could just have a few they would be Strawberry Green (Baby Sugarberry), Moondreamer (Baby Glory), Tiddley-Winks (.... Tiddley-Winks) and Bucket (Sandcastle)

If only one I would have to choose Strawberry Green, she was my absolute favourite when I was a kid.

Glory, because she's the oldest in my collection, from my childhood collection ( my very first pony ever, given to me a in a trade with my then best friend for one of my Barbies ).

Then Glow, and Baby Cuddles, as they're the other two remaining ponies from my childhood collection.

And my customs.

All of the other ponies, I can easily recollect if need be, but those 3 specific ones I CAN'T, as they are from my original childhood collection, and they mean something. They're the ones that have been with me throughout my entire life, through all of the bad times and good times. They stayed where other things and other people didn't.

I think you said what my mom would say, only exceptions are the customs that she has. Some were made by me and my mom would be sad about them being messed up, but other than that she would want her army of friends :)

Since we're not allowed to say all of them, the choice for me is heartwrenching but simple: El Rey del Sol (see sig) and if pleeeze one more could be grabbed, then also Mad Hatter (custom I made for Halloween swap, who galloped home to me).

The rest, as I sit here looking at them, each one I look at is "oh, for sure her... no, her; no! him oh no, it has to be that one oh wait,..."

*goes off to find large tub to keep handy to scoop them all into, just in case....*

Just about a month ago I made a big fire on top of the stove and I thought I was going to catch the whole house on fire (The flames were directly on the wooden cabinets) . I didn't. But it was a super scary thought. And all I could think of is just my dog.
I would hope, like others, that my childhood ponies were ok ... Since they have been with me since the start and I have the most memories of them.

Id want BBE Heart Throb, Baby Surprise, and Baby Blue Ribbon to all be safe. Im also sitting there thinking, oh her, no, her, really her, no, maybe him..

I'm so sorry that happened to you, Kar. I remember you saying you had lost a few ponies in a fire, but I didn't know how extensive it was. My sister-in-law just had to go through their whole house catching fire- a grease fire in the kitchen started it. They're settled back in, but it was "easy" (as easy as a fire in your house burning all your earthly possessions can be) because their insurance company was great!

It's really hard for me to decide. Mostly because I have all our childhood ponies in my collection, along with a wonderful and very well-loved custom Kar made me for my wedding.... I think in the end, if I had time to grab a pony, I'd be too panicked to really choose wisely. I'd probably collapse crying or something, and would maybe go for Juanita (custom Kar made me). I guess you can replace childhood ponies without it being too bad, but you can't replace something like that.

Of course later, I'd come scrape up the big, rainbow plastic puddle and would have to put that on display in my new home. :)

OMG How awful!

My ponies would all run out of the house... they're smart like that ;)

No, seriously, I'd just be happy to keep my childhood ponies from my collection back home. For the ones that I have here with me, I'd hope for Brazil Bowtie and Milky Way to make it out there safely.
