Well as it's been ten years since the first hunt there are a lot of people with old hunt photos around.
I would love to share some with you.
These are some of mine from the 2005 hunt.
This was a bonus round I think it was meant to be a greeting card featuring a pony. Of course I always have to include a collie! I remember this bonus seemed to take forever as Koori was only about 5 months old and thought the pony would be a great toy!
We had to take a photo of a pony in the fresh fruit and veg section with the price label showing. Eep! I'm very shy and smuggling in a pony and camera to the super market to take a photo was intimidating. Thankfully I snuck in and took my photo without being detected!
This is my rendition of the all time favourite hunt step. The recreating a movie poster with ponies one at the time it was a grand finale step and was very competitive! I chose The Goonies which was one of my favourite movies from the 80's.
This was anothewr of Wolfies crazy challenges. Take a photo of a pony in a cemetery with a tombstone. Extra points if at night and extra extra if there's a full moon in the photo too. Well talk about creepy. The cemetery I used is an old historical one largely given over to parkland but at the time they were doing maintance and moving some of the graves so there were open ones all over the place. Needless to say Yum Yum and I nearly ended up in an open grave more than once. I was so happy with the photo though!
This is another bonus shot, I forget the exact requirements. I think it was meant to be a sunrise but being a bonus and me living on the other side of the planet a sunset was the best I could manage. I think it was meant to be romantic too but I can't remember now. I'm sure someone will pop up to remind me!
I have more photos from other members some from 8 years ago and will be sharing those too. Feel free to add your own and to pass the word around to people who may not be active in the community now but have been involved in the hunts. We would love to see more old photos.
