Every do something stupid?

A couple of years ago I was at Toys R Us with my daughter and I asked her, "What kid is going to want to buy a Pony with 25th Anniversary as its symbol?"

Some other young ladies came up and quickly snatched the pony and I remained totally clueless for weeks until I saw what 25th Anniversary ponies were going for on evil-bay.

I removed the symbols of a MM Floater in a bait lot I got because I thought they were stickers! After the first layer started coming off and the pictures showed through did I realize she was a Magic Message.

Have you ever done something very Stupid to a pony by mistake? I mean like St00pid with two zeros! I just realized I super glued Gusty to my desk. :x *slaps forehead*

I'm so sorry, but I laughed out loud when I read that!

10th anniversary wasn't a couple years ago, and the symbol isn't '10th anniversary.' it's a TAF with ribbons and such.

Besides, next year is the 25th anniversary, so why would it be a couple years ago? 2002, the 20th, we had yet to have G3 ponies in the US. 1997 would have been the end of the G2s in the US, maybe 15th anniversary pony? Either way I've only ever heard of the 10th pony.

when I first started I thought clipper's hair was butched so I took his head off and removed his "cut" mane..then I found out he's supposed to have a mohawk LMAO..I replaced him and I have one with a long mane..I'm a idiot

I had just bought Mimic on eBay (for $42!), and I was absolutely in love with her. When I was little, I loved the "clickety-clack" of the pony's hooves when I would make them gallop around the kitchen counters, so to accentuate the sound, I would put them in the freezer.

Well, I ended up dropping her, and off went her horn! Mind you, this was in '97 I think, so I was only 8 or 9 at the time.

Regarding my earlier post, I was trying to describe Licensing Show Pinkie Pie. I was confusing the dates in her symbol balloons with an anniversary. Well, you can put me down for doing something else stupid.
Guess this is how rumers start.

re

When I was little (like 5 or 6) I used to take my MLP into the bathtub with me (and I don't mean just the sea ponies, I mean ALL of them). I couldn't tell you how many ponies I had with rusted or lost tail because of that. :( I think I even remember my grandmother's tub getting clogged because Cotton Candy's tail went down the drain!

I also thought I'd found some wonderful cleaning method when I tried nail polish remover to clean a pony. Then I realised what a fool I was when I discovered I was taking the symbols off!

When I was around 4 or 5, I used to chew on my unicorns horns, before I knew anything about ponies...so now a bunch of my unicorns have chew marks, and pearly baby moondancers tip is gone :x

I recieved 2 gold flutter ribbons in an accessory lot and I thought they were fakie ribbons and used them to play with my cat. I am still kicking myself over that.

I traded a Moondust w/ pink hair (was faded but still pink) AND her ribbon for...Tiffany >.< But at the time I hated Moondust and really, really wanted Tiffany! (What makes me mad is that the person didn't clean Tiff before she sent her! Grr)

Oh my gosh, LSPP was sold in Toys R Us?

Yeah, some got through by mistake and were sold in stores.

I had part of my collection on the floor for some reason and the cat stole one of my Avon Babies. I found it several days later hidden under a chair. It's little mane was so matted and gross. Evil puss.
Umm.. I also once melted a baby firefly tail. This was many years ago. She had terrible tail rust and I wanted badly to help her. So then I saw the toilet bowl cleaner that said it took care of rust and thought, hmmm.. this might work. Needless to say it didn't. Instead the color flowed right out of the tail and then the white tail fused into a solid mass. It was ugly.

when I was a little girl I had to go spend the day at my dads work. I got all paranoid I would loose my ponies so I wrote my name on them in sharpie... and my name isnt short either its Cassandra so yeah :?

I have since then ruined a few ponies with something I used to clean them.. I am assuming I didnt wash them properly afterwards and they have bleach stains on them... its such a shame too. I am not sure whether it was nail polish remover or something else I had used.
