Happy Meal ponies are out.

As of yesterday, the Happy Meal ponies are at McDonald's (In Canada, anyway). The first two are Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy.
 
Thanks for the heads up! Just bought a complete set on ebay for $16! *is too lazy to make the effort to go back and forth to McD's with two small kids*
 
Twilight Sparkle has a 3 on the bag. I am not sure about Fluttershy, didn't get her. We have about 4 of last year's Fluttershy laying around, didn't see a point in getting this one.
They only just came out, because my mom took my daughter to McDonald's on Friday, and they still had the build-a-bear toys. Not sure why they are starting at 3? Unless it is just the Walmart McDonald's I went to?

McDonalds doesn't really release them in order--just whatever box they open up first. I just like to know the numbers because its easier to tell the Mcd cashiers which toys I want.

McDonald's employee here: Each McDonald's gets a different box. Also, my McDonald's doesn't have the full box yet, just a little 'Customer Satisfaction' box that seriously holds maybe 20 toys.

So...don't go too crazy until the 9th when they're actually meant to be out u3u
 
I had to go out early and buy my son medicine before school at CVS, so I stopped by McD's to buy the kids chocolate milk right next door and ended up getting a Pinkie Pie who has #1 on her bag. I'm in OH, so they are definitely out in the U.S. now.
 
I've been checking but I have not found any McDonald's with pony's.
Glad to hear there finally out so I don't have to walk away from another McDonald's.

Do they look any different from the 2011 toys? Like what is that ring on their back?

They are posed slightly different than the last McD offering, and they seem much shinier to me. The ring is a hideous key chain that comes unattached and you are supposed to assemble it your self. I took a pic for you:

I had to go to 2 different McD's on the way home from work. The first one has 4 and 6? Then the McD in Walmart in Centerville had the entire set for me. They were so nice, and not so crowded at lunch rush either.

And I had to get a Shamrock shake too. :)
 
They were nice enough to get all 8 out for me too, they were $1.25 each (Oregon City) with the food I got. Those keychain rigs are so going to mysteriously disappear...
I went before the lunch rush too.

Boy do I have an awesome story. So last year I went to this one Mcd and they had all 8 at one time. So I decided to go to the same one this year. So I got to this particular Mcd store and asked which ponies they had out. So the guy says we have all of them and asked if I was a collector, so I told him yes. So he grabs a Mcd to go bag, goes to the back of the store for like 2 min, and then returns. Now while I was waiting, I pull out a $20 thinking its going to cost me $16. But when he returns he hands me the bag, and I ask if all 8 are in there--he says yes--and then tells me to take the bag--and I'm like "I don't need to pay?" and he said no. I was like what?! So I got all 8 for free! Crazy! This store is defintely my fav McDonalds. LOL.
 
The only thing I don't love about that story is that it's not in Oregon.

Got Rarity (does it annoy anyone else that her tail is hot pink? I honestly wish I could dye it or something) and 2 Pinkie Pies yesterday.

Went in the morning and got a Happy Meal for my brother (he was nice enough to let me get a girls meal instead of a boys so I could get a pony :D) then went back that night and asked if they had any other ponies. The cashier pulled out Pinkie and I agreed that I didn't have her yet so he must have put her in the meal box because the manager came over asking if I wanted her too, gave her to me for free and I realized after I left that there was one in the box as well :lol:
I hung the extra in my boyfriend's car so now he has a bright pink pony looking at him while he drives :wink:

I haven't been to any other McDonalds around here yet since I don't have the transportation currently but I did have my bf check a different on his way to work but they only had Pinkie :(

I'm really hoping that I can find Rainbow Dash somewhere soon.
 
ugh, only two days, and they're all cleaned out at the local McDonald's! o_O
 
Got a Pinkie Pie yesterday. :) If I get a double of one pony, I might hang one on my purse.
