Hasbro officially releases 2011 Comic Con pony

The Egyptian one is probably the Fair Pony, or a random Art Pony. I'll pick both up, but I hope the Fair one isn't the orange one. I love orange Ponies, but she just doesn't scream Fair to me. Plus she leaked, so I hope the Fair girl was able to be kept secret.

There is usually one for the MLP fair and one for Comic Con. we're assuming that the "Egyptian" pony is for the MLP fair at this point, I suppose.

That said, this one is growing on me. Gonna wait this year to get it from Hasbro, though.. Much cheaper than getting it from a Con- goer off ebay. Seems like they usually turn up a couple weeks after the comic con on the Hasbro site.
 
Ugh, don't like this one at all. I wish the Egyptian pony had been for Comic Con--I could have gotten her from Hasbro then. Ah well.

The longer we collect, the more open minded we become of all styles of ponies :) Even if you don't love the whole thing you can find something about it you do love. I am a sucker for translucent plastic!
 
I REALLY like this pony. I got to see her up close yesterday at the fair and she is so cool! shes very interesting. I know I will be purchasing her.
 
When I saw the photos of her online, I was all "ew, no thanks".

Then I saw her at the Fair yesterday, and OMG she is GORGEOUS in person. She is simply amazing, and I can't wait to get my hands on her!
 
So, those of you who went to the fair, can you confirm if she was translucent or not? I've been dying to know!!!

Oh! Yes, she is =) I don't think she's quite as see through as say... the Dazzle Glow ponies, but she's definitely not opaque.
 
Yep, totally transparent. Even the black part isn't completely opaque. There are some pics floating around. I have one but it's not the best. You can't see the slightly see through quality of the dark here but you definitely see the lighter see through!

She won't be on sale until Comic Con starts (and it may have already for all I know). I pre-ordered with the same people who have provided the last several years' worth for me. Can't wait to get her!
 
Awesome! Thanks for confirming, and for providing that beautiful picture!

I want her even more now! I think I'll be forced to wait and see if she shows up on the Hasbro website, but I hope I don't make a mistake.

I imagine they won't be very easy to find until after ComicCon which is next weekend.

The last several years she was available for $14.99 if I"m remembering correctly. I Think it was fairly soon after the Comicon, but unfortunately I can't remember the exact number of days. She was on hasbrotoyshop.com.
